Venues of the 2014 Winter Olympics For the 2014 Winter Olympics and 2014 Winter Paralympics in Sochi,

Russia, a total of eleven sports venues will be used. All of the venues are under construction with completion scheduled for 2012 in time for test events in 2013.

2014 Winter Olympics Mountain Cluster Venues(interactive map) Contents Venues Coastal Cluster Olympic Park is one of the main objects of the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi. At the Olympic Park will be located major sports facilities, the construction of which is carried out in preparation for the 2014 Winter Olympics. Located in the Adler City District of Sochi, Imeretinsky Valley, on the Black Sea. Sports facilities and infrastructure will be used during the opening and closing ceremonies, as well as during the games. In the Olympic Park will be located a stadium, two ice arenas for hockey, skating center, ice palace, the arena for curling, two training arena, area for the winners, outdoor skating rink, the Olympic village, media center, hotel IOC members, outbuildings and big screens for viewing sports.

The Olympic Village is built in the Olympic Park, on the shores of the Black Sea. It was built by Basic Element. It will consist of 47 buildings and is designed for three thousand people. Athletes, journalists and members of the Olympic family will live there. After the competition, the Olympic Village will be an off-season resort complex Sochnoye or "Juicy". The 100th environmental protection measure was completed in October 2010. Slopes at the Rosa Khutor Alpine Resort were completed on 26 November 2010.
