A FOUR WEEK, FULLY FUNDED INTERNSHIP OPPORTUNITY IN THE UK LEARNING The NSTS Social BUSINESS SKILLS TO BECOME AN Internship

Developing ENTREPRENEUR Entrepreneurs [SIDE]


For nearly sixty years, NSTS has been synonymous with providing educational opportunities for students and youths. It has now partnered with Corkscrew, a like-minded organisation in the UK which for the past sixteen years has been offering worldwide training and cultural programmes, to develop the NSTS Social Internship Developing Entrepreneurs [SIDE] to help young unemployed people obtain training in business skills, igniting their entrepreneurial spirit and giving them the confidence to take their career path into their own hands. This programme is fully funded through the Leonardo Da Vinci Programme. You need to be over 18 years of age, be currently unemployed and actively looking for work. You will have the opportunity to gain relevant work experience to enhance your theoretical skills (including optional English for Business) in a real multi-cultural work environment. The programme will cover business skills such as planning, target setting, time management, communications channels, team management, research, project management, technique evaluation, problem solving and more. PROGRAMME: The main focus during the 28 days will, however, be on the vocational work experience which gives you an insight into Week 1: Orientation on arrival at the City of Entrepreneurship and Enterprise and learning from those who Exeter, explanation of the Entrepreneur and have been successful in their field. Some of the organisations include Dementia working on their projects which are set with the assistance of Corkscrew to allow a broad Adventure, Green Works, Food Cycle, Global Generation, Give range of skills to be developed. By the end of Blood England and Wales, Give me Tap and others. You will be accommodated with a host family on full board in a single room and you will be supported 24/7 through an emergency helpline. Flights and transfers are also included. If chosen, you will need to enter into an agreement and deposit a 400 bond which will be returned in total if you commit to your engagement and complete the whole duration of the project.
the third week, participants will have seen how new businesses develop and the needed qualities to be a successful entrepreneur. Week 4: interns complete projects and submit them for review for evaluation together with the completion of modules for the Entrepreneur and Enterprise Award.
