GCF Certification

The WCDMA 3G Certification Program was officially launched by GCF on 8th February 2005

Every new WCDMA phone should be certified by GCF before selling in the market

GCF authorizes a test platform which can be used for validating 3GPP RF/Protocol conformity of UE (Handset) which is interoperable with actual WCDMA/GSM/GPRS networks Test platform for design verification prior to GCF certification is not necessarily a Full Conformance system but can also be a Partial Conformance system (test cases) Agilent GS-8800 participated and certified by GCF on 5th April 2005 Agilents GS-8800 customer can be confident that their Wireless handset design is verified in a GCF-certified test platform that is agreed and continously-updated suite of test cases.
