Dear lakshika Yes I am fine thanks for asking. I hope you have a good season. Im still in grade 4. Id like to move about Grade 5 that because Im going in about 3 months. Are season is longer than yours so Im not In In grade 5 yet. Well how was your break what did you do this summer Im going to go camping Did you have a spring brake well we did and I moved to a farm and when it summer im going to Get gouts.It is really cool that you get to learn German drag the summer Im also going to a science camp And I might go to Spanish class. Hi I love your letter about learning German did you know that I am German and from Germany. My fam is from Germany but born in red deer if you dont know ware is red deer than ask your teacher. In LA we are writing our pen pal letters and doing up our acrostic poems for the Spring Tea. In LA we are also continuing our novels. My novel is called House far from home. In math we are finishing up our unit on geometry. For science we are doing a new unit on building with simple machines. For DEAR we are either working on writing or we are reading. For gym we have lately been doing handball and learning to dance the jive on Tuesdays and Thursdays. For art we are making three dimensional flowers for the Spring Tea. Ministik Elementary Sherwood Park AB April 15 2013 Dear Etansha, Hi again! It is always such a pleasure to write to you! I am so happy you are happy with your new classes. As you may know I did not move up a grade or even switch teachers. I am still in grade 4. I have already sent you a letter containing my classes furnishings and such but I will make this one slightly different. I am from grade 4 at Ministik Elementary School. I have just measured the classroom and it has a perimeter of roughly 30 meters. It is a nice space with a table at its center. The table is surrounded by desks and

behind the desks shelves. The teachers desk is in the corner. Currently most of our boards are covered with posters writing projects and in the middle of our boards a big smart board. Does your class have a smart board? The first subject of the day is LA. Also known as Language Arts. We work on writing read have spelling tests and practice pronouncing and using punctuation in our everyday lives. Next we have Math. For math we are currently working on data analysis. Then its recess. For recess we go outside and play on the hills and the playgrounds. When we hear the bell we come inside and have Science. Then it is Social which is the subject I am working on right now. After social we have lunch. I bring a bag lunch and eat it at my desk. After lunch is another longer recess outside. Then it is DEAR (Drop.Everything.And.Read.) After DEAR it is art. Then gym. Next is another shorter recess. After recess we have French. For French we are doing a play called petite cochon. That means little piggy in French. After French we have a different teacher for health whom we call Mr.Jorgensen. For the rest of the day we had Mr.Arndt. That is the end of the day so we get our backpacks and ride the bus home.
