Satellite A satellite is an object which has been placed into orbit by human endeavor.

Such objects are sometimes called artificial satellites to distinguish them from natural satellites such as the Moon. Satellites are usually classified according to the type of orbit they are in. There are four types of orbit associated with satellites, and the type of orbit dictates a satellite's use. Firstly, Anti-Satellite weapons/Killer Satellites are satellites that are designed to destroy enemy warheads, satellites, other space assets. They may have particle weapons, energy weapons, kinetic weapons, nuclear and/or conventional missiles, or a combination of these weapons. In addition, Astronomical satellites are a type of satellite. It can be used for observation of distant planets, galaxies, and other outer space objects. Thirdly, Biosatellites are satellites designed to carry living organisms, generally for scientific experimentation. Communications satellites is a type of satellite which is important to us. It stationed in space for the purpose of telecommunications. Modern communications satellites typically use geosynchronous orbits, Molniya orbits or Low Earth orbits. Furhtermore, Miniaturized satellites are satellites of unusually low weights and small sizes. New classifications are used to categorize these satellites: minisatellite (500100 kg), microsatellite (below 100 kg), nanosatellite (below 10 kg). To add to the list, one of the type of satellite is Navigational satellites which use radio time signals transmitted to enable mobile receivers on the ground to determine their exact location. The relatively clear line of sight between the satellites and receivers on the ground, combined with ever-improving electronics, allows satellite navigation systems to measure location to accuracies on the order of a few meters in real time. Reconnaissance satellites are Earth observation satellite or communications satellite deployed for military or intelligence applications. Very little is known about the full power of these satellites, as governments who operate them usually keep information pertaining to their reconnaissance satellites classified.

Earth observation satellites is also a type of satellite for non-military uses such as environmental monitoring, meteorology, map making etc. Tether satellites are satellites which are connected to another satellite by a thin cable called a tether while weather satellites are primarily used to monitor Earth's weather and climate. All satellites have same process and procedures to function. A transmission is sent from a station on Earth to the satellite. This signal is called an uplink. The transmission has a powerful high frequency which is referred to as a "Gigahertz (GHz) range signal". The satellite, in orbit about the Earth, receives the signal and then transmits it back to earth stations. This transmission signal back to earth is called a downlink. There are a lot of advantages of using satellites. Firstly, A doctor can remotely do operation using satellite communication by giving instructions to the junior doctor who is about to operate a patient. Secondly, satellites provide us mobile communication such as handphone what we are all using right now. For military, avionics and astronomy applications developments are improved by using astronomical satellites in the observation of distant planets, galaxies, and other outer space objects. Satellites is also playing important role in research and developments in the field of Navigation and Security. Satellites are also used to keep track of the ships in the sea. One of application of satellites, satellite television system has many benefits and is ideal for many types of people. Some of the advantages are people in remote areas can get satellite television even if they are not able to receive cable services. In conclusion, satellites is an important technology to us and give us a lot of benefits. So, we should use the technology of satellites briefly to make our life become more happy.
