'Kapitan von Reiche formed a foriegn Jaeger batalion from volunteers in Berlin and later on the lower Elbe.

They wore a green Jaeger uniform with green shoulder straps, and were armed with infantry muskets; the volunter jaegers had rifles' For figures I guess Prussian fusiliers would be best for the musket armed troops. Calpe do specific figures for volunteer Jager.

Wallmodens Uniform Plate is contained in the book 'Grundriss der Militar-und Kriegsgeschichte 3 Napoleon gegen Preussen' by Siefried Fiedler. It states it was created by Dr Friedrich Hermann based on extensive study. I will now describe in more detail Headgear Light grey Feldmutze with red band and black peak Tunic Blue (not grey as I previously stated)knee length Litewka blue collar and cuffs, no shoulder straps. Footwear Light brown high boots laced at the front Due to the length of his coat & boots legwear is not visible. Sash Silver Sabre Light cavalry pattern white metal hilt & scabbard silver sword knot He is depicted holding what I believe is a pipe (light brown approx 18" long curved at one end)

"The artillery battery's strength varied wildly as equipment was captured or exchanged. Three iron 2.25pdr guns were used until 16 June. Shortly thereafter a half horse battery was organized. On 16 August it still had the three 2.25pdrs, but had acquired two 3pdr cannons, and a 7pdr howitzer. On 16 September this changed to three 6pdr cannons, 4 3pdr cannons, one iron 2.25pdr and a 7pdr howitzer. This force was reorganized into a half foot battery and a half horse company at this time.
