Diamec series of underground drilling rigs The new Atlas Copco Diamec underground drilling rigs have sent shock waves through the industry. Built to save time, money and manpower, its features include an integrated positioner and hydraulic feed frame for 360 degree drilling, computer assisted controls and a powerful energy efcient electric or diesel power unit. The rigs are rated up to a capacity of 2,000 meters with B size rods and available with Automated Performance Controls (APC) or Pilot Hydraulic Controls (PHC). The most recent development is the Diamec Mobile Carrier Rig (MCR), combining ergonomics and safety with productivity and accuracy in core drilling.

Christensen series of surface drilling rigs The new Atlas Copco Christensen surface drilling rigs include many new features that make them the most powerful and exible rigs available on the market. All models can be mounted on a skid base, truck, trailer or track carriers. The surface drilling rigs are rated up to 2,450 meters of N size rods. Atlas Copco surface drilling rigs offer increased strength, reliability and precision. Theyre designed to minimize exing and vibration in the hole, a welcome innovation that signicantly reduces the overall cost per meter drilled.
