This highly topical seminar includes:- Practical applications of current design installations of detection and suppression systems relative to todays performance based code environment - Design, installation, commissioning and maintenance guidelines for fire suppression systems - Developments in fire detection, commissioning and installation relevant to todays Performance Based Building Code Environment - Special fire hazard systems with practical examples of design and installation and area of applicability of each system type.
OBJECTIVES The seminar is designed to provide Fire Safety Professionals with an insight into a range of current fire detection, alarm and suppression systems being incorporated into fire safety systems designs of todays building solutions. The seminar will provide participants with a general overview of the available detection and suppression systems including the various methods of detection ( smoke, heat, radiation and image processing). The seminar will touch upon a number of the latest developments in fire detection and suppression systems, commissioning and installation of fire detection and suppression systems relevant to todays performance based building code environment. The theoretical presentation is complemented with practical examples and short movies outlining the subjects presented.
