ZEOLITE MATERIALS
Clariant is one of the worlds largest producers of specialty zeolites and zeolite-based catalysts. The long history and experience of Sd-Chemie in Zeolite development is now part of Clariant. Our range of products includes advanced zeolite powders and extrudates for use within the industrial processes of petrochemicals, oil rening, and chemicals, as well as within emission control applications for hydrocarbon storage in catalytic converters and the decomposition of NOx and N2O. We offer numerous Pentasils, Betas and Mordenites based on a wide range of silica-to-alumina ratios. Theses products provide diverse properties and are available directly from our local sales offices.
ZEOLITE MATERIALS
Shape-selectivity allows for discrimination of molecules by size and structure Tailored acidity established zeolites as the most versatile solid acid catalysts Variety of electronic interactions between guest molecules and the zeolite widen the spectrum of applications. Zeolite structures are named according to the code established by the International Zeolite Association (IZA). Today, it is common practice to use the term zeolites also for materials that are structurally related to the classical crystalline aluminosilicates, although many are chemically different.
