INTRODUCTION

Single palm tree fertilizer prices fluctuate in Malaysia for 5 years from 2008 to 2012 from the research that I have conducted. the use of fertilizers in the cultivation as for oil palm, rubber, cocoa and food crops such as rice, fruits and so forth also increased over the years. We have been shocked by the price hike of petroleum crisis in 2008 where it has increased by more than 2-fold. basic materials to make chemical fertilizers are mainly based on petroleum products and other basic ingredient.

Based on the above issues, I have made a study of a single steel price trends in the retail market in Malaysia for the next 5 years. data collected from suppliers - suppliers and sellers of fertilizer throughout peninsular Malaysia.

DATA ANALYSIS Table above shows that the trend of the retail price of fertilizer is very high in 2008 when the oil crisis hit the world . by using the above tables I made a bar chart graph to make an analysis .

Ammonium sulphate fertilizer in 2008 priced as high as Rm72.00/50kg because at that time and the increase in oil prices had dropped as low as Rm42.17/50kg in the year ( 2010) and stable in price Rm45.59/50kg in 2012 .

CIRP fertilizer prices used to improve soil fertility also Rm41.75/50kg sold during the year ( 2008) but increased to Rm62.42/50kg in 2009 as demand CIRP much fertilizer per farmer and the cost too high and stable at RM45 .55/50kg in 2012 .

MOP fertilizer prices retailed at Rm150.00/50kg prices continued to decline in 2008 due to a lack of materials to make fertilizer MOP and then with Rm140.84/50kg year ( 2009) and stable at Rm105.50/50kg on in 2012 .

In 2010 the price of MOP fertilizer decreased the price Rm101.98/50kg to Rm93.05/50kg in 2011 with an average of RM8.93 decline during the year due to the cost of petroleum has gone down for the year.

Most widely used for crops is due to urea roots and fruits raise the retail price Rm91.46/50kg marketed in 2008 and dropped as low as RM78.00 in 2010 because there is lowering the cost of petroleum and the cost of raw materials to make steel and now stabilized at Rm81.92/50kg in 2012 .

conclusion

The results of my research for this show possible oil crisis is among the most significant factors based on the purpose of the interview with distributors, retailers and the consumer. we sincerely hope that fertilizer prices will be stable for a long time that the cost of food is not affected and farmers to earn a profit in their activities. Many people are not aware that the rising cost of fertilizer will increase the rising cost of food.
