VISIONGATE ENTERTAINMENT, Franklin, TN 2004 to Present Independent Artist Management and Talent Scout Developed the careers of artists Adam Tucker, Lauren and The Reckless and Yankee Grey. Arranged co-writing appointments and publishing deals in order to improve the artists recording catalog. Developed and organized showcases to promote artists and their brand name. Created artist websites and networking through social media, selling music on I-Tunes and generating revenue through artist merchandise. Independent Record Producer and Publisher Recorded and pitched music artists to record label A&R representatives. Researched song material, identified potential hit songs and recorded tracks for CD distribution. Recorded and produced album projects for Yankee Grey, Lauren and The Reckless, Edge of Life, Vanilla Curve, Dayron Sharp, Jennifer Horne, Lauren Todsen, Static Revival and Adam Tucker. Independent Mastering and Recording Engineer Transferred clients audio elements from analog tape and digital media sources. Edited, sequenced and mastered CD projects using digital audio workstations. Created workflow for transfer, editing, leveling, equalization and output to final production master. Assembled, mastered and created more than +1200 CD music projects throughout my career. MASTERMIX STUDIO, Nashville, TN 1989 to 2004 Mastering Engineer/Audio Editor Mastered and edited album projects utilizing the Sonic Solutions Hard Disk Editing System. Listened and quality checked recordings to ensure superior sound and production. Worked with all analog and digital formats used in the mastering process. Helped create, organize and maintain audio archives on 1630 masters, DLT, Exabyte and CD. Engineered on top recording artists including Brooks & Dunn, Alan Jackson, Billy Ray Cyrus, Lee Ann Womack, dcTalk, Gretchen Wilson, Montgomery Gentry, Brad Paisley, Metallica and Yankee Grey.
Business Development Served as communications liaison for major entertainment artists including Lee Ann Womack, dc Talk, Jeff Foxworthy, Alan Jackson, Brooks & Dunn, Billy Ray Cyrus, Gretchen Wilson. Coordinated new business opportunities, along with the development and strategic planning to maximize growth and profitability for company. Engaged the biggest Classical Music company client in the world called Naxos of America. Increased profits by 30%, which included an Evan Bonds/12 CD box set and a Norton/25 CD box set.
