All India survey on Higher Education AISHE 2012-2013 DATA uploading- to ensure timely completion - Data Collection and its Uploading by individual Polytechnics in DCF-III on the AISHE Portal - Regarding. 1. To portray the status of higher education in our nation, Ministry of Human Resource Development has endeavoured to conduct an annual web-based All India Survey on Higher Education (AISHE) since 2010-11. The survey covers all the Institutions in the country engaged in imparting of higher education. The Survey envisages identifying and capturing all institutions of higher learning in the country Accordingly, the AISHE 2011-2012 had been launched w.e.f 21st March, 2013 for uploading the data in the prescribed DCF III format for the year 2011-2012 and now the same has been concluded by the MHRD for Tamilnadu. Therefore, the respective TamilNadu Polytechnic College Principals and the Polytechnic AISHE nodal officers are hereby appreciated for the effort taken to fulfill the AISHE 2011-2012 uploading activities.

Subsequently, the Survey for 2012-13 (AISHE 2012-2013) has also been launched by Honourable Minister of state for Human Resource Development, Government of India, on 03.09.2013.

From the AISHE portal it is learnt that only 281 TamilNadu polytechnic Colleges are alone uploaded their data in the DCF III format for the period 2012-2013 (AISHE 2012-2013).

Hence

all the Principals of the polytechnic colleges in TamilNadu who are

not yet uploaded the Data in the DCF III at the AISHE portal for the period 2012-2013 (AISHE2012-2013) are informed to upload the data in the relevant DCF III format to the survey year 2012-2013 on or before 31 - January - 2014.

For the AISHE 2012-2013, the DCF III form is to be downloaded by selecting the survey year as 2012-2013, and this DCF III form with year 2012-2013 alone is to be used for uploading the data to the survey year 2012-2013.

Therefore, the Principals of all Polytechnic colleges in TamilNadu who are not yet uploaded the Data in the DCF III at the AISHE portal for the period 2012-2013 (AISHE2012-2013) are requested to take appropriate action to ensure timely uploading of the Data for the respective Polytechnic Colleges in the prescribed DCF III format for the AISHE 2012-2013 well before the specified final date

31-01-2014 without fail.

Immediate action in this regard is highly solicited.
