FIRMWARE RELEASE NOTES Software Release Notes for WA6102X-2-FLF-32 and OAP6626A-FLF-32
INTRODUCTION: MIPS based 802.11a/g Dual Band Wireless Access Point is an access point that provides transparent, wireless high speed data communications between the wired LAN (and/or within the wireless network) and fixed, portable or mobile devices equipped with an 802.11a/g wireless adapter employing the same radio modulation. This solution offers fast, secure and reliable wireless connectivity with considerable cost savings over wired LANs (which include long-term maintenance overhead for cabling). Using this new 802.11a/g technology, the Wireless Access Point can easily replace a 10Mbps Ethernet connection or seamlessly integrate into a newer 10/100 Ethernet LAN. If we configure the SNMP server by SNMP rmon trapDestTable, the AP will reboot continuously until we reset the configuration to factory default. We can recover the reboot by (1) in v2.1.12 release, we should push the reset button for more than 5 seconds, the application code will clear the configuration. (2) In v2.1.13 release, we should push the reset button for more than 20 seconds in application code or bootshim period. Both of them can clear the configuration. (3) This bug had been fixed in v2.1.13b04. If we configure the SNMP server by WEB with host name, the AP will reboot continuously until we reset the configuration to factory default.
