Wipro is an authorized test lab for the Wi-Fi Pre-Certification program. Wipro has established a dedicated Wi-Fi Pre-Certification lab to enable alliance members to complete WLAN interoperability testing which in turn will help them get their products Wi-Fi certified. As a part of the Wi-Fi Pre-Certification program, Wipro offers pre-certification test programs for WPA2, WMM and WMM-PS. Wipro also offers WLAN Compliance testing, which comprises of validating the protocol standard extensions of 802.11 - 802.11a/b/g, 802.11i and 802.11e. Wipro takes a granular approach to manual and automated testing with a WLAN test automation framework to increase coverage of testing, for efficient detection of bugs and debugging. Wipro's 802.11x Compliance Test Suite consists of Test Cases to perform Protocol Conformance Testing
WLAN MAC adherence to the 802.11 standard.This includes 802.11a/b/g protocols as per IEEE 802.11 specification. This includes verifying RTS/CTS, Fragmentation, Power save, WEP functionality etc.

Performance Testing
The performance of APUT and STAUT is measured in terms performance criterion like throughput, under different configuration settings of APUT/STAUT and channel conditions

Interoperability Testing
Interoperability testing of APUT and STAUT is carried out as per the Wi-Fi test plans: WPA2, WMM and WMM-PS

Stress Testing
Stress/Load testing of APUT and STAUT is carried out by transferring heavy data traffic (TCP/IP, UDP) with different configuration settings of APUT/STAUT, under bad channel conditions

WLAN Test Automation Framework
