This new community fundraising opportunity available in all parts of Surrey involves raising awareness of the work of the Society and the 6n /emoriam giving opportunity with bereaved families and friends and local funeral directors. Dou will be visiting local funeral directors to introduce the work of the Society and to gain agreement to distribute and display in memoriam leaflets and envelopes. 3undraising; #e$ory Walks : Surrey CWorking 6ro$ 1o$e.D H /emory ;alk is the SocietyFs flagship fundraising event with walks taking place throughout September. All money raised is used to support services for people with dementia and their families and also raises awareness of dementia and the SocietyFs work in the community. This role is essential to support the *ommunity Fundraiser in planning, organising, delivering and evaluating flagship /emory ;alks. The role is fle<ible and the specific commitment will be agreed between you and the *ommunity Fundraiser. As this is a time limited 9annual: opportunity, it will re7uire an increased time commitment in the run up to the event. lanning starts in April, with an increased level of activity in September.

Support Ser+ice Supper Club; 1asle$ere CW&-?2B?D This role will involve assisting staff and helping with refreshments, receiving and chatting to visitors at our Supper *lub for people living with dementia and their families. The supper club takes place on the first ;ednesday of each month between ' and $ pm. 5olunteer Co,ordinator 1asle$ere 9;3B"232:H This role will involve assisting with the recruitment, selection and placement of volunteers and ensuring they receive ade7uate induction and support. This role helps to ensure that we have the people we need to raise money, improve awareness, help behind the scenes and provide services to anyone living with dementia and those who care for them. This role will re7uire appro<imately "-2 hours per week but would be fle<ible. Washing,2p 5olunteers 9;3B"3!2:H The team at the @radbury *entre desperately need volunteers who are happy to clear and wash up cutlery, crockery and glasses. This is a valuable role as it frees up the time of the support workers, allowing them to focus completely on the care of their clients. .n6or$ation Support 5olunteer C0gha$D 9;3B"323:H role is essential to promote our services and highlight our presence in local areas. Dour involvement will ensure information on our services is highly visible and readily available to those who need us.
