of Venus. Using r e f e r e n c e y o m t s , N r , and ivlrs. Candusso t r a c k e d t h e
o b j e c t t s v e r y d e l i b e r a , t e progress i n a g e n e r a l l y e a s t d i r e c t i o n , low
i n t h e n o r t h e r n sky. Through 7 x 50 binocs t h e y could s e e no d e t a l l s ,
but i t seemed t o both t h a t i t was a l i t t l e l o n g e r t h a n i t was high,

She and a conpanlon were a t a parking l o t i n t h e Eampton and
Gravois Ave. area: in st. Louis when they saw t h e o b j e c t s , It was
a c l e a r n i g h t , w i t h no wind, and was between 8 and 8 : 3 0 o ' ,lock. Two
o b j e c t s appeared from t h e n o r t h , one behind t h e o t h e r , a s though they
had been "suddenly t u r n e d on" and "were b r i p h t e r t h a n a n y t h i n g I have
e v e r s e e n , " she r c v o r t c d .

watched t h e o b j e c t s f o r about a hdlf hoar., They were diamond-shaped,
s h a r p l y o u t l i n e d , and 'loved about i n an e r r a t i c f a s h i o n w i t h no sound.
While ' t h e i r maneuvers wcr-e being observed, a plarie f l e w a c r o s s the
sky, under t h e o b j c c t s , and t h e sound of t h e plane w a s heard c l e a r l y
and i t s b l i n k i n g l i g h t s were seen. The UPOts d i d n o t appcar t o b l i n k
a t any time. B s h o r t tirne a f t e r t h e f i r s t two appeared, t h e t h i r d one
came i n t o view--to t h e l e f t and apparensly below t h e o t h e r s and was
n o t a s brigh-bi A t t h e end of about 30 u i n u t e s , t h e f i r s t two seemed
t o "fade outIb a f t e r tdking t h e p o s i t l d n of one being d i r e c t l y below
t h e o t h e r . Then t h e t h i r d o b j e c t a l s o fnded o u t , but i n s o doing,
