SubVendorSelection: Selectionofvendorisdonebasedontheirexperienceandinternalqualitycontrol.This ensurescorrectsubvendor.InspectorsanddesignEngineersjointlyselectsubvendor. RawMaterialrequirement: Ingeneral,rawmaterialslikeplates/sheets/pipes/Flangesarebeingprocuredfrom Vendors/dealers.Howeverspecificationisbeingcheckedbeforedispatch. QualityControlatFactory: Incoming material is being checked with predispatch note already issued and the same is checked for its specification and corelated mark with cost mark. Proper identification mark / tag is given to each material to avoid any mixup. Proper tag indication for inspected and accepted material is pasted on the raw material. In case of rejection of material same is being segregated separately and put in a separate store with proper tag mark.Thesameislaterdispatchedbacktothesupplier. QualityControlofProcess,Welding,HeatTreatmentand NondestructiveTesting OurQualityEngineerchecksheatnumberofsheets/plateswithtestcertificateissuedby supplier/ vendor. Before cutting the plates/sheets, approval to be received from Quality Engineer. After marking of nozzle orientation of vessel, it is to be approved by Quality Engineer beforecutting. For welding, in general welding procedure is supplied to Production Incharge and only qualifiedwelderispermittedtodothejob. EdgepreparationisbeingcheckedbyQualityEngineerbeforeproceedingwiththewelding. All root welds in general are made by TIG process for SS Vessels or depends on job requirement and checked for dyepenetration to detect cracks, if any. Subsequent layer is madeonlyifthesameisfoundO.K. FinalAssemblyQualityControl Final Dimensional report is prepared by Production Incharge and is to be approved by Quality Engineer. Waterfill /Hydraulic Testing is being done to check the leakage or soundnessofthebody. Functional requirement is being checked as per work order detail received by Quality Engineer. If found O.K. inspection call notice issued and based on which contracts Dept. intimatedtoinspectingagency,ifany.

HowtoDealwithDeviation All deviations, if have a possibility of accepting are being sent to Design personnel for acceptance. Proper deviations not being sent for approval through Project Manager are examined by Design Department critically in the light of the application requirements and designcode.Furtheractionistakenaccordingly. Preservation,PackingandDispatchControl Surface exposed for corrosion is given the layer of grease and kept for final inspection. Once final inspection is over and shipment released by the customer, the material is dispatched.
