Feb 1, 2010. 8:19 PM REPLY Ooh! I loved the way this looked, I just HAD to learn how to do this :D My mom saw it right before it was finished and she was jealous, so I'm going to make another one for her in black with beads (hopefully). Thanks for posting this with such clear pictures and instructions!

Jan 25, 2010. 8:21 PM REPLY I have been wanting to learn how to tat since I first started crocheting when I was in my teens, roughly 15 years ago. In spite of gobs of patience, tons of hours and many how-to books, learning how to tat always managed to elude me. Then, I discovered needle tatting and your flower pendant tutorial. Last night, I sat down with a yarn darner needle and some crochet thread, read the flower pendant instructions, watched the video for it, and actually finished it! After making about a half dozen of the flower pendants as practice, I went to a local craft shop and purchased a set of actual needle tatting needles and some nylon thread. Tonight, I'm confidently working on this pattern so I can proudly wear the necklace with my garb while I perform at my local Renaissance faire in a couple of months. I sincerely cannot thank you enough for posting your patterns and tutorials! You helped me learn a craft that I've wanted to know how to do for 15 years!!!
