Introduction Who are we?

We are the committee of the first, biggest and the most prestigious Model United Nations conference in Indonesia. Operating under support from Faculty of Social and Political Science, Universitas Indonesia, we are powered by the most experienced team, consisting of highly qualified organizing committees and winners of many world class Model United Nations such as TEIMUN, HKMUN, APMUN, and more. What is our goal? By conducting this MUN coaching program, we would like to see many Indonesian youngsters in High School level progressing in term of diplomacy. We also would like to see them performing in Indonesia MUN, not to mention that joining IMUN will be a part of the training program we would like to propose. Last but not least, this training program is going to strengthen Indonesia MUNs position in Indonesia as the most prominent MUN nationwide. What do we propose? We propose a contract of mutual benefit between Indonesia MUN and Labschool Rawamangun, in which we are going to commit ourselves to train students of Labschool Rawamangun, especially in purpose of preparation to go to The Harvard Model United Nations. The training program will take time along August 2013 January 2014. What will be the expected outcome of this program? We expect our students to match the quality of average varsity-level delegates in the end of the training program. Our curriculum is designed to close the literacy gap between high school and varsity students with extensive research and team-based knowledge management, with written materials that we compose exclusively for high school students. Speech training program designed to build eloquent short speeches is also included, consisting in structural and body language sessions. Last but not least, we are going to train the drafting speed of our students.

Schedule We offer flexibility to all the students to arrange weekly training sessions in accordance to their schedule. In general, we propose: 1. An ideal routine of weekly training sessions, preferably every Saturday. We expect a total number of 23 meetings, not including training camps and/or simulations. 2. We encourage all participants to have more intense training schedule close to the competition. 3. Any training session, especially beyond weekends, will be discussed by all parties, students and coaches for scheduling.
