Girls' Education Doctoral Case Study Survey

This survey is designed to create a collaboration between doctoral students at Johns Hopkins University's School of Education and NGOs focusing on girls' education issues, particularly (1) access and equity (2) public health, and (3) education in emergencies. The case study will take place over six weeks beginning in March 2014. Ed.D candidate research with and subsequent recommendations to NGOs are designed solely as an educational exercise. Johns Hopkins University, JHUs School of Education, or the participating organizations are neither bound by, nor can be held liable for, any recommendation made or implemented during and/or after the Case Study. Students are required to abide by all university requirements for research. The participating organizations can expect that research will be conducted along the lines stipulated by the university. Those organizations participating in the Case Study cannot expect Ed.D students to abide from any other requirements, nor can individual students, JHU, or JHUs School of Education be held liable for any recommendation made or action stemming from it. NGO participation in this Girls Education Case Study affirms its understanding of the conditions by which this Case Study shall commence and be completed, including language that holds harmless all students, representatives, and agents of JHU and JHUs School of Education.
