WBJEE 2014 Application Form Complete Information:

All the candidates will have to fill the ONLINE form on the official website. After logging into the official website, they will have to click the button Fill Application Form to start the form filling process. They will be shown online form in which they have to fill the requisite information. The WBJEE 2014 Online Application Form will be interactive in nature. The fields which have been marked with * will be MANDATORY and must be filled by all the candidates failing which the form will NOT be submitted.

WBJEE 2014 Application Form Steps for Filling the Form: The form filling will include 3 steps: Step 1: Fill the application form:

Candidates should fill the online form with the requisite data and carefully note down the unique, system generated application number which will be used as their reference for all future communications. The application number will be generated AFTER the successful submission of data in WBJEE 2014 Application Form. All future logins in the online accounts will be done via this application number and date of birth of the candidate.

Step 2: Pay the form fee:


Candidates will have two options for fee remission, namely Payment by Credit/Debit Card and Allahabad Bank Challan. Fee Remission by Debit/Credit Card: In case the candidates have the facility of Debit or Credit Card or Net banking with them, and they want to remit the form fee online, they have to select this mode. After the payment of fee for WBJEE 2014 Online Application Form is complete, they will be able to generate the print out of top sheet and confirmation page. Allahabad Bank Challan Mode: Candidates will have to select this mode first. Next the challan will be generated along with the specific details of candidates. Candidates will have to print them out and remit the fee at the bank and fill the requisite details online to complete the form submission.

Step 3: Send the Print Out of confirmation page to WBJEEB:

Candidates will have to send the below mentioned documents via Speed Post for final submission of WBJEE 2014 Application Form at:

West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination Board, AQ 13/1,

Sector V, Salt Lake City, Kolkata 700091

Set of Documents: Original Payment Receipt, Printout of Confirmation Page and Supporting Documents (Category Certificate, Domicile Certificate, TFW Certificate and Physically Disable Certificate) as applicable.

WBJEE 2014 Eligibility Criteria Detailed Information:


Applicants must be mandatorily a citizen of India. All the applicants of Engineering/Technology, Architecture and Pharmacy Courses (except Marine Engineering) must be at least 17 years of age till 31.12.2014. There is NO upper age limit for such candidates. However, as per the Eligibility Criteria of WBJEE 2014, candidates applying for Marine Engineering Course must NOT be more than 25 years of age as on 31.07.2014 and the lower age limit for such candidates will be 17 years. As per the Eligibility Criteria of WBJEE 2014, candidates who are desirous of getting admissions in Govt. Engg. Colleges and admissions on Reserved Category in any institution inclusive of TFW Seats (Tuition Fee Waiver) have to be MANDATORILY a domicile of the state of West Bengal. Such candidates will have to produce the proof for it at admission time in the prescribed format.

Candidates who are residing in West Bengal for a continuous period of 10 years as on 15.12.2013 or whose parents are permanent residents of West Bengal with a permanent address within the state will be treated as the Domicile candidates as per the clauses of WBJEE 2014 Eligibility Criteria. Aspirants can read out exam brochure to see the correct format and competent authorities for the Domicile Certificate.

The exam Board has specified different clauses of eligibility under Academic Requirement for admissions in Jadavpur University and other Colleges as well as for the course of Marine Engineering; which are as follows: WBJEE 2014 Eligibility Criteria for Admission in Engineering Courses other than Marine Engineering in all Colleges EXCEPT Jadavpur University:

Students must have passed Class XII exam from West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education or any other equivalent recognized Board or Council. As per the eligibility norms, compulsory subject combination is Mathematics and Physics with ONE Optional exam from Chemistry/Bio Technology/Biology/Technical Vocational Subjects. As per the WBJEE 2014 Eligibility Criteria, candidates must have passed the subjects of Mathematics and Physics INDIVIDUALLY. A minimum of 45% aggregate is a must for the General category candidates along with 30% Minimum marks in English to be eligible for exam. This percentage of marks is 40% in aggregate along with 30% in English exam for the candidates of ST/SC/OBC and PwD candidates.

WBJEE 2014 Eligibility Criteria For admission in all Engineering Courses EXCEPT Marine Engineering in Jadavpur University:

Candidates must have passed the Class XII exam from West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education or any other equivalent recognized exam Board or Council. Candidates must have passed the Subjects of Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. This will be the COMPULSORY subject combination. Minimum aggregate should be 60% for General Category Candidates and 55% for the candidates of ST/SC/OBC and PwD Categories along with a minimum of 30% marks in the subject of English.

WBJEE 2014 Eligibility Criteria For Admission in Marine Engineering:

For admission in the course of Marine Engineering, candidates must have passed the Class XII exam from West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education or any other equivalent recognized Council or Board. The minimum aggregate is 60% in Mathematics, Chemistry and Physics with an individual pass in all of these subjects.

As per WBJEE Eligibility Criteria 2014, candidates must have at least 50% marks in the subject of English at either Class XI or Class XII level for admission in Marine Engineering.
