1. Software operating environment

Hardware requirements: laptop, PC, PAD. Space of system disk cant less than 5G, and RAM cant less than 1G.
Operating Systems: Supporting WINDOWS XP SP3, WIONDOWS 7 and WIONDOWS 8, but not WINDOWS RT.
Network requirements: The software needs to be activated & downloaded online, so please make sure your internet is
connected.
Installation conditions: Windows login account must be an administrator.

2. Software downloading and installation

2.1 Software downloading
Opening the website: http://www.ucandas.com/mod_download-fullist.html , and download UCANDAS V3.0 EN.zip

2.2 Software installation

Decompress the file of UCANDAS V3.0 EN.zip. Then, you will get two files setup.exe & UCANDAS_Setup.msi.
Choose either of them, you can install the software.
By choosing setup.exe as an example:

Home of UCANDAS wireless diagnostic system. It introduces and describes product

property and component structure.

autodiagnostics

Autodiagnostics are the heart of the system, the main function required by technicians for
efficient servicing. It is also the area where UCANDAS has focused its extensive
know-how. The autodiagnostics environment provides direct access to individual
functions, such as reading parameters and system status, Faultcode, activation of
individual components to check operation, ECUs setting, level calibration and so on.

System settings

Clicking this application, it allows you to perform settings personalized such as language,
Run Mode, Unit Selection, Link Mode, etc.

Software
management

Software management: There are three functions of product software management

including vehicle software upgrading, vehicle software management and product
registration.

Exiting

Turning off UCANDAS system safely.

3.1 System setting

3.1.1 Reading VDM information

When connection has problem(USB or WIFI), and it cant read VDM Hardware version, usually, it shows asUnknownor---;
If USB connects well, it shows the number of hardware. As the picture shows:

It has Demo, so even VDM is not connected, it can simulate how UCANDAS works. As the picture shows:

Read VDM Hardware version again to make sure that VDM is connected by USB correctly. If not, please check USB

3.3 Unbeatable autodiagnostics

Please connect VDM with the car. After connection, the power indicator will light. SSID of VDM is UCANDAS.
If your WIFI doesnt connect successfully, please set WIFI to connect with UCANDAS. After WIFI connects, VDM wireless
indicator will light. Run UCANDAS software, and click the vehicle icon:
