TRIP
Applies to: Culinary Arts students who have completed the Management of Wines and Spirits class and will be 21 st years old by September 1 , 2013 Requirements: minimum GPA of 3.5; exceptional ability in the Management of Wines and Spirits class (minimum grade of A); an essay demonstrating excellent writing skills; exceptional interpersonal skills Special Considerations: Considerations: While U.S. citizenship is not required, Visas must allow you to travel during September and October 2013. The Foundation is looking for students with an interest in and aptitude in food and beverage management, whose intent is to work in the field, not for students who plan to pursue research or a career in academics. Amount: $10,000.00 cash and a six week all expense paid European (France and Italy) and California travel experience Application: student web portal or Financial Aid Office Deadline to Apply: March 1, 2013 Additional: Trip includes apprenticeships in restaurants and /or hotels and work experience with a variety of California and European wineries. IMPORTANT FACTS!
1. You may apply for scholarships when you are on externship or are waiting for the next BPS start date. When searching the student portal for applications please note that you may only apply for scholarships that are in the CURRENT Financial Aid Times. Get scholarship deadline dates from the Financial Aid Times. Computers are available in the Financial Aid Office to help you file your FAFSA form, apply for your loans, or perform a scholarship search.

Scholarship applications can be found on the student web portal (Net Partner). Simply log in, click onto Forms and scroll down and click on the name of the scholarship that interests you. Print the application that appears, fill out the deadline date and the application, and bring it and any required attachments listed on the application to the Financial Aid Office. Scholarships offered by an outside source (one that supplies a website for further information) may be applied for any time you are a student even when you are on your externships.
