LEELA (CONTD) Kis din se, mere bina kucch bole, tum mujhe samajhne lage. Kis pal se bina mera haath thaame, tumne mujhe thaam liya. Par jab bhi yeh hua, mujhe laga, agar apni baaki ki umar mein tumhe sahej loon, toh isme harz kya hai? Leela sits back as she takes a sip of her tea LEELA (CONTD) Aur sach poocho toh, kabhi yeh khayal hi nahin aaya, ki mujhe iss rishte ko define karne ki, ya justify karne ki zaroorat padegi. As the watchman sees them, his usually grim face breaks into a very big smile and he begins effusively thanking Jayant. Amaya continues to watch, almost mesmerized by the effect Jayant has on people. A slight smile unconsciously plays on her face. Jayant puts an arm around the watchmans shoulders and walks back to Amaya. As he reaches her, they stand awkwardly for a couple of seconds, Amaya being unsure of whether to hug him or just say bye and leave. Jayant sensing the awkwardness, puts out his hand in a handshake.
