Designation : Senior Financial Associate Being a part of Accounting operation (RTR) process , I am handling Team of 3 members to perform the day to day activities of the process. Also responsible in General ledger Month End Book Closing, Bank activities, Fixed Assets Accounting and Intercompany accounting.Also supporting Accounts receivable team in Cash applicaton and Accounts payable team in indexing.

Roles and Responsibilities General ledger :Preparation and Posting journal entries, Balance sheet reconciliations, Reconciliation of
Sub ledger Balances AR-AP against GL, Prepayments bookings, foreign currency valuation, cost center review, VAT report, Intrastat report, Weekly cost of sales report, Bad debt provision report . Bank : Daily and monthly bank reconciliation, Clearing and follow up on an open items. Fixed asset: Fixed asset accounting (Asset Disposal, Creation and transfer), Fixed asst reconciliation, Depreciation check, GBU report, acquisition and retirement history report. Intercompcny accounting: Intercompany netting, Goods in transit report and Intercompany reconciliation SPOC (Single point of contact) in the process. Preparation and review of Standard operating procedures. Arranging and chairing the monthly team meetings focusing on Month end closure targets. Training new joinees on the process.

Efficiency projects:
Part of the Fixed asset process project in order to cut- shot the time which is getting invested on the process. Worked on the Bank reconciliation project in order to reduce the open items in the Bank account and give more clarity on the posting.
