(b) In a deflection frequency meter working on the principle of electrical resonance, there are two parallel circuits each consisting of an inductance and a capacitance in series. One circuit has = 1 and is tuned to a frequency, = 60 Hz. The other has = 1.5 and is tuned to a frequency , below 50 . The resistance of each circuit is = = 100 . What must be the inductance of the second circuit, and to what frequency must it be tuned, in order that the current in both the circuits shall be same at a frequency of 50 Hz. 3. (a) Describe the method for measurement of reactive power in single phase circuits. (b) The current coil of a wattmeter is connected in series with on ammeter and an inductive load. A voltmeter and the voltage coil are connected across a 100 Hz supply. The ammeter reading is 4.5 A and the voltmeter and wattmeter readings are respectively 240 V and 23 W. The inductance of voltage circuit is 10 MH and its resistance 200 . If the voltage drop across the ammeter and the current coil are negligible, what is the percentage error in the wattmeter reading?
