Clergy Thank You: Our pastor, Fr. Dale Cieslik, and our deacons would like to thank you for your generous and thoughtful Christmas gifts, and wish all of you the peace of Christ in the New Year. Adult and Family Faith Formation: The weekly Keeping the Seasons reflection page for the Feast of the Epiphany is included in this weeks bulletin. The January issues of Catholic Update, entitled Five Ways to Share Your Faith, and At Home with our Faith, along with 2014 Catholic Calendars are on the table near the loft stairs. Make a resolutions to start the New Year off with some spiritual reading and prayerful reflection. Contact Deacon Carl with any questions about the Quick Journey through the Bible study, beginning Thur., Jan. 9th, at 6:30PM, and Fri., Jan. 10th, at 10:30 AM. Religious Education for Children: After our Epiphany Family Session this Sunday, January 5th, our classroom sessions resume on January 12th. Server Training: Michael Richards will lead the training for servers/Acolytes, for new and experienced servers, youth and adults, after the 11:30 Mass on Sunday January 26th. If you are interested in this ministry, contact Bob Searcy. Marriage Moments from the Archdiocesan Family Ministries Office: The Epiphany: "Go and search diligently for the child." (Mt. 2:8) The wise still seek him. What wisdom can you learn from a child today? Perhaps your own child will teach you patience. THE RECORD will publish the first Bridal Issue on January 30, 2014. If you missed the opportunity for a bridal announcement in a previous issue, we can include marriage announcement, provided you will not have celebrated your first anniversary by January 30, 2014. 2013 Catholic Services Appeal - Bringing Christ to Others: The Archdiocesan CSA update of December 27th reports that $9,365 in pledges or gifts have been made by our parishioners. With our parish target of $8,000, we are most grateful to those of you who have responded to this appeal. If you have not yet done so, it is not too late. You may use the envelopes in the back of Church, or use the online feature at Archlou.org. Every gift does make a difference. 2014 Parish Stewardship Envelopes are on the table near the loft stairs please pick up your box. Contact Diane Black in the Parish Office if you do not see one for you, or if you have any questions. The contributions you make help our parish spread the Good News, and your support is both necessary and appreciated. The letter from the Parish which will state your 2013 contributions will be prepared and mailed prior to the January 31st deadline. Prayer Garden Update: We appreciate your patience and your support as we await the finishing touches to be made to the Prayer Garden. Please be sure to make a visit to see all the details as the construction is completed. It is lovely!
