The category of personals includes the three classes of personal pronouns (I, we, you, they, he, she, it, one) which function as a subject or object (me, us, you, them, him, her, it, one), possessive determines usually called by possessive adjective! This research analy#ed about cohesion devices found in the te&t of Reader"s )igest *aga#ine. The writer ta'es the data from the article I (eel +i'e I %an ,till Tal' to *y *om! that was written by -olivia .illiams. The data collected are identified using /alliday and /asan"s theory of cohesive devices.

This research is aimed at 'nowing what type of cohesive devices are used in the article I (eel +i'e I %an ,till Tal' to *y *om! and to 'now the percentage of each type of cohesive devices are used in the article I (eel +i'e I %an ,till Tal' to *y *om!. The writer ta'e the data from

the 0clipse! movie script that was written by *elissa Rosenberg. This study uses descriptive 1ualitative research in which the data are ta'en is the utterances e&pressed by the main character of the 0clipse! movie script. The data collected are identified using /alliday and /asan"s theory of cohesive devices.

In other words, the te&ture of a te&t is formed by the cohesive ties that it contains.
