Computer Science is more than number and code At Carnegie Mellon, our curriculum encompasses the entire study of computation and how it can be applied to the world around us. those with extensive programming knowledge to those who have never written a single line of code. A strong aptitude for math and science is more important than prior experience with computers. Undergraduate Programs The School of Computer Science offers a B.S. in Computer Science, a B.S. in Computational Biology, and a B.S. in Computer Science and Arts. We also offer a second major in Human-Computer Interaction, and minors in Language Technologies, Computer Science, Robotics, Software Engineering and Machine Learning.
