Associate Pastor of Administration
Macedonia Baptist Church (MBC) is seeking an Associate Pastor of Administration to assist in the efficient day-to-day operations and ministry of our Church. The incumbent will serve and facilitate the operations and ministry as directed by the Pastor. This is a full time position and will be accomplished through various duties, responsibilities and assignments. The role of the Associate Pastor is to work in harmony with the Senior Pastor and Leaders, have a firm grasp on the vision, mission, purpose, values and strategy of the Macedonia Baptist Church and align key leadership and congregation with its mission and vision. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: This employee will be an at-will employee, subject to a 90-day probationary period and a yearly performance review. This position will require a background check, three professional references, and three personal references.

Position: Associate Pastor of Administration Duties:

The duties shall include the following:

Assist the Pastor in leading the Church toward Spiritual growth. Sharing vision for the ministry and assist in developing total church involvement in holistic ministry. Assist in the visitation and Communing of the Sick and Shut in members. Assist in conducting and officiating over Weddings, Funerals, baby blessings and other special services as assigned. Representing the Macedonia Baptist Church at various religious and community events on the local, state, national and international levels as assigned. Attending denominational meetings and or convocations as assigned. Coordinating the administrative tasks supporting the ministry efforts of the Macedonia Baptist Church and assist in the coordination of ministerial tasks among the ministry leaders. Encouraging total Church involvement in the mission and vision of the Macedonia Baptist Church in an effort to equip the saints for the work of ministry. Reporting directly to the Pastor in an appropriate manner on all actions and progress of assigned activities. Assist the Pastor in the daily activities and administrative operation in various ministries and also the planning and coordination of future events. Work with all leaders of the Church in the appropriate manner and within the set forth church leadership and other duties as assigned. Assist in the Planning & Execution of Worship Services

 Coordinator for Event Planning Ministry Planning and Executing Church Wide Services / Events Oversee and Coordinate Directors of Ministry Assist in the development of planning and budgeting documents for Administration Team and Church wide Ministry All other duties as assigned

Qualifications:
Professed believer and practicing Christian. Knowledge and Understanding of Church Ministry and Operations Exceptional communication and writing skills, as well as business writing/editing and proofreading Detailed oriented; solid organizational skills and ability to work with minimal supervision Ability to follow oral and written instructions Licensed and meeting the qualifications for Ordination as a minister of the Gospel within the Missionary Baptist Church. Currently enrolled or have completed advanced Seminary Training. Familiar with major office software programs including but not limited to Microsoft Suite. Willing to train in the use of all currently installed computer software and future additions.
