are your most powerful asset! You and everything you experience in life are the direct result of your thoughts. The ability to control your thoughts will allow you to choose what experiences, people and the events you attract into your life. In this lesson we'll explain exactly How to ontrol Your Thoughts.

!ow, you may thin" this is going to be hard...after all, you thin" thousands of thoughts every single day. How would you monitor them all# Fortunately there is a shortcut!!! $e're going to teach you two techni%ues you can use to attain mastery over the thousands of thoughts streaming through your head each and every day. The "ey to controlling your thoughts is to simply observe the emotions that come from the thought. "n#erstan#ing $%otions &ll the emotions we feel, be it love, excitement, sorrow, fear, happiness, peace, anger, 'ealousy or 'oy ( can fall into two categories. Your feelings about something tell you very %uic"ly whether you should or should not bring that thing into your life. $hen you understand the )aw of &ttraction, you'll learn to become aware of the way you feel and to pay attention to these feelings because they're your soul's guidance system, and will to help you hone in on things that are truly right for you. Here's an example* &s a "id you may have played a game called hot or cold. You would close your eyes and count to ten. & friend would hide something+ say a toy, under a mattress or behind some boo"s. $hen you're done counting and open your eyes, you now have to attempt to find the hidden toy. ,very time you move towards the location of the toy your friend would shout -$&./-. If you moved away from the toy your friend would shout - 00),.-. &s you start to move towards the toy your friend would say -You're getting $&./,., $&./,....- &nd as you pinpoint the mattress and discover the toy, he'd shout -H0T ( You found it!$ell let me share something with you.

The "niverse is your frien#! &nd the 1niverse plays this game with you ,2,.Y single day. 3ut rather than say H0T or 0)4, the 1niverse guides you with feelings. 5ositive feelings mean you're moving towards something good for you. !egative feelings mean you're headed in the wrong direction. You may wa"e up one morning feeling negative about your 'ob. The repetitive wor" is boring you, you feel underappreciated, you 'ust don't feel you're doing something you love. The negative feelings are a sign from the 1niverse that you need to change direction immediately. hanging direction does not mean %uitting your 'ob this instant ( but it does mean you need to do something to fix your present situation. You might feel the same way about your marriage, your career, your body, your home ( the negative feelings are alarm bells going off. The 1niverse is saying -$arning, You're thin"ing thoughts that are not the reality you wish to face. 6eep thin"ing them and you'll only increase the li"elihood of these situations coming to you. The 'ower of Gratitu#e The first techni%ue for thought control is simply called ,xpressing 9ratitude 5eople who let the )aw of &ttraction wor" for them are a certain breed of people. You'll recogni:e them when you meet them. They are often positive, 'oyful, in awe of the world, and full of love and compassion. 8ure, they sometimes face bad moments ( feelings of despair, grief or sorrow, but they bounce bac" %uic"ly. They seem to relish life itself. & simple way to help you move into this state of 'oy and positive vibes is to start thin"ing about what you have to be than"ful for. &nd believe me, you have a )0T to be than"ful for. You may loo" at your ;(bedroom apartment, cheap car < =>- inch T2 and compare yourself to wealthy people living today and feel that you have barely made it. 3ut thin" about this ( you are richer than the richest people in the world living 'ust ;?? years ago. They did not have a -horseless carriage- that could carry them wherever they wanted to go. They could not use a phone to instantly communicate with anyone ( anywhere in the world. They did not have a -magic story(telling box-, what we would call a T2 ( to entertain them. ;?? years ago, the amount of information that the average wealthy person could consume in a lifetime, would be no match for the amount you can consume in 0!, 4&Y through the Internet. You may have an average income ( but you would not want to trade places with a -rich- man living 'ust ;?? years ago. You have much to be grateful for! 8o to get the )aw of &ttraction wor"ing for you, express gratitude for what you have. 3ecause here's the 3I9 secret ( when you express gratitude for what you have ( you allow the 1niverse to give you more. $allace $attles hit the nail on its head when he said, -5eople who order their lives rightly in all areas are "ept in poverty because of their lac" of gratitude. Having received one gift from 9od, they cut the ties that connect them to 9od by failing to ma"e ac"nowledgement.)ow here(s an i%*ortant thing!!!

The ac"nowledgment does not serve to boost the ego of some insecure 1niversal onsciousness or 9od. The 1niverse does not &., if you're grateful or not. $hy this wor"s is because when you express gratitude for what you have, you put Y01.8,)7 in a frame of mind ( one that's of 'oy and expectancy. 3ecause you now focus on what you H&2, rather than what you 40!'T H&2,, the energy you're sending out is I H&2, & )0T. &nd in return the )aw of &ttraction has to reciprocate by giving you & )0T /0.,. $ithout gratitude, the energy you put out is I 40!'T H&2, ,!019H ( and so, by the )aw of &ttraction, you'll "eeping losing more and more until you don't have enough. +ac, Canfiel# e-*lains how he uses the 'ower of Gratitu#e in his life!!! &8 I explained in the movie, The 8ecret, I am always grateful for all that I have in my life @ I have a magnificent home A I have a tremendous wife AI love spending time with my family. &nd, I absolutely love what I do in my business every day. How to $-*ress Gratitu#e It's really easy. Bust decide to spend a few minutes each day to practice being than"ful for what you have. You could do it during* Your morning commute $hile in the shower Bust before going to bed at night. In the morning, as soon as you wa"e up. &o%e sa%*le state%ents of gratitu#e you can use. I'm so grateful for my body. It's treated me so well over the years and is aging gracefully. I'm happy with the way I loo". I'm grateful for having such an incredible family, for a spouse that loves me and for "ids that are simply wonderful.

Lesson # 3 How to Control Your Thoughts I'm grateful for being born me ( for my house, car, family, health and the feeling of 'oy with which I pursue each and every day. I'm so grateful now that I am earning CCCCCCCCC per month. I have a 'ob I love, a career that I'm good at and I can afford anything I want for myself or my family. I'm so happy and grateful now that money comes to me, in ever increasing %uantities, through multiple sources of income, on a continuous basis. )e-t!!!Thought Control when &o%ething /a# Ha**ens /ut what if so%ething *articularly 0a# ha**ens 1 an acci#ent or su##en illness2 3hat #o you #o then2 The solution is a technique calle# $nergy 4e#irection

The $nergy 4e#irection Technique $e've already explained how your thoughts are energy. &nd that which you focus on, you attract. The danger is that bad things do sometimes happen ( accidents, illnesses, bad brea"(ups, being laid off wor". $hen this happens and you dwell on the sudden bad situation ( you 'ust create negative energy that amplifies the bad situation and "eeps you loc"ed in it for longer. 7ortunately, there is a powerful techni%ue you can use to pull yourself out of bad situations. I was heading out to lunch at a nearby restaurant with E of my students, and offered to drive. &s we approached my new car, we saw a big dent in the right front fender. 8omeone had slammed into it while it was par"ed, and had driven off without even leaving a note on the windshield. The three students loo"ed at me and waited for

the blow(up. $hen I first saw that dented fender, my mind flew off into all "inds of directions. 7or a moment I could feel irritation and my body tightening with anger, and I "new immediately I had to redirect that negative mental activity at once. I used the ,nergy .edirection Techni%ue and focused on finding a way to change the negative thoughts into *ositive action. Bumping into the car I said to the three, -)et's go. There's a body and fender shop 'ust down the street.-You going to get it fixed right now#- 0ne of the students as"ed. -!ope.- I answered, -$hat I'm going to do is to get a price on what it costs to repair the dent, and whatever that price turns out to be, 6(% going to create so%ething that 6(% not #oing right now an# 6(% going to %a,e three ti%es the cost of the #ent!$e drove to a nearby shop and I was told that the cost of repairing the fender would be FG>?.??. I immediately tripled the figure and thought, -F=,E>?, I've got to earn F=,E>?.?? with something new.!ow whenever I loo"ed at the dent in my fender I didn't mentally start cursing the low life who dented it and ran off. !o, not at all. !ow when I loo"ed at the dent I thought, -F=,E>?.??, I've got to earn F=,E>?.??.I "ept thin"ing of how I could ma"e that amount of money. It had to be something that I was not doing at that time. I put on my reative Hat and thought about it, and finally came up with the answer. I would create a brand new seminar for my friends and if they li"ed it I would send out a mailing to all the people who had been through my classes, and would set a goal of ma"ing F=,E>?.?? from it! &nd so I put the seminar together and did it for free(of(charge for fifteen friends. They loved it. I then sent out a mailing and conducted the new seminar. Imagine my surprise when I reali:ed that I had made more on that seminar than the new car cost! &nd all because someone dented my fender. $%otions create $nergy lea#ing to 7ction 3y focusing on the positive and using the ,nergy .edirection Techni%ue, 3urt allowed the )aw of &ttraction to wor" for him. He made the dented fender bring to his mind, not the negative feelings of loss ( but the positive feeling of wanting to earn TH.,, times the cost of fixing that fender. In 3urt's story above ( you can see how he loo"ed at the dent, and saw something positive out of it. He redirected his negative thoughts into positive ones, and set a goal of earning E

Lesson # 3 How to Control Your Thoughts times the money needed to fix the dent. !ow, of course, with the dominating thought in 3urt's mind being the goal of earning money, he allowed the )aw of &ttraction to bring that into his reality. The $nergy 4e#irection Technique is really si%*le! $hen faced with a bad situation ( thin" of a way to turn it into a H&)),!9,.

&pply creativity to the situation and any negative event can be turned into an exciting challenge. !ow, we're not saying you need to forget or ignore the negative event. That can sometimes be very hard to do. 3ut by finding a challenge, a goal ( something that can motivate and inspire you ( you now re(allocate a large chun" of your energy away from the negative thoughts. In other words, thoughts that woul# otherwise 0e o0sesse# with the negative event can now 0e re#irecte# an# focuse# on so%ething *ositive. It's beautiful and so simple! Yet once you learn this, you can free yourself from the many negative thoughts that "eep you trapped in present conditions. &s 3urt said...after setting his goal of earning E times the cost of the dented fender, every time he loo"ed at the fender, he would motivate himself by thin"ing -I have to earn more money-. The negative thoughts, anger at the person who made the dent, frustration at having to for" out money to fix it ( were all being 4I7718,4 by the positive challenge. Here are several %ore e-a%*les. /e#14i##en in Hos*ital. 4ecide that you're going to use this free time to learn something fun, say a new language. !ow you're thin"ing about a new s"ill rather than focusing on your illness. Got Lai# Off. 8et a goal to find a 'ob that pays you ;>H more than your previous 'ob. Thin" about this new 'ob and stop thin"ing about being laid off. 8tart 'ob hunting. 4o not hold any negative feelings towards your boss for laying you off. Instead, thin" of him as having done you a favour because you're now going to find a better 'ob. &o%eone Owes You Money an# 4efuses to 'ay "*. 7orgive them. &s long as you hold a grudge, you're telling the 1niverse that you've lost money. &nd indeed, you'll attract the loss. Instead, set a goal to earn twice the amount of money you've lost. Got 5u%*e#. 4ecide that you'll find a new love. 8omeone better suited to you. /a"e a list of all the %ualities you'd love to see in your ideal mate. !ow focus on

meeting this new person. Lost a /usiness 5ue to /an,ru*tcy. 4ecide that you're going to rebuild a new business and regain your financial freedom. 8et a goal to earn E times what you previously had. 3onus 5oints* 4ecide that you're going to earn so much more than you'll be able to repay all your debts ( even though you legally may not have to.
