Small amounts of No 5 Crochet yarn, in desired colors Fiber fill Size 2.00mm Hook Yarn Needle Stitch Marker

Stitch Explanation: DECR/SC2tog (sc decrease) Insert hook into ST and draw up a loop. Insert hook into next ST and draw up a loop. Yarn over, draw through all 3 loops on hook.

Part One: Body


This part is made by working in continuous rounds, so you may want to use a stitch marker to keep record of your current row. Row 1: With main color, CH 2. Work 6 SC in second CH from hook. Place a stitch marker in the last SC to designate the end of the row. Row 2: Work 2 SC in each ST around (12 SC). MM Row 3: *Work 2 SC in first ST and 1 SC in next ST. Repeat from * around (18 SC). MM Row 4: *Work 2 SC in first ST and 1 SC in next two STs. Repeat from * around (24 SC). MM Row 5: *Work 2 SC in first ST and 1 SC in next three STs. Repeat from * around (30 SC). MM Row 6: *Work 2 SC in first ST and 1 SC in next four STs. Repeat from * around (36 SC). MM Change colors in between the following rows or continue in one color. Row 7-15: SC in each ST around (36 SC). MM Row 16: DECR across first two STS and SC in next 16 STS, DECR across next two STS and SC in next 16 STS (34 SC). MM Row 17: DECR across first two STS and SC in next 15 STS, DECR across next two STS and SC in next 15 STS (32 SC). MM Row 18-23: SC in each ST around (32 SC). MM Row 24: SC in each ST around. FO Leave a long tail when finishing off, it will be used to sew the opening closed after being stuffed.

Part Two: Wings (make 2)


This part is made by working in continuous rounds, so you may want to use a stitch marker to keep record of your current row. Row 1: With main color, CH 6. Work 1 SC in second CH from hook, work 1 HDC in next 2 STS, work 1 DC in next ST, work 5 DC in next ST. Continue up the foundation chain, work 1 DC, work 1 HDC in next 2 STS, work 1 SC in next ST (13 STS) Continue working in the round. Row 2: Work 1 SC in next 4 STS, work 2 SC in next 5 STS, work 1 SC in next 4 STS (18 SC). MM Row 3: Change color. Work 1 SC in next 4 STS, work 2 SC in next 10 STS, and work 1 SC in next 4 STS (28 SC). FO

Part Three: Eyes & Beak


This part is made by working in continuous rounds, so you may want to use a stitch marker to keep record of your current row. Eyes (make 2): With white color, CH 2. Work 6 SC in second CH from hook. Place a stitch marker in the last SC to designate the end of the row. Row 2: Work 2 SC in each ST around (12 SC). FO Embroider French knots or sew a beads into the middle. Beak: With white color, CH 3. Work 1 SC in second CH from hook, work 4 SC in last CH, and work 1 SC in CH where first SC was made. Join with slip SLST. FO

Part Four: Assembly


Stuff body with a small amount of fiberfill/ stuffing and sew top close. Attach wings, eyes and beak into positions. Weave in all ends. Be patient, if you dont succeed the first time, try again! Use a different kind of yarn or hook.
