A Prayer For My Love

My lips murmur your name,

Blessed name,
Wonderful woman,
Heart of my heart,
My life,

As I pray in silence,
Eyes closed,
Head bowing in reverence,
Hands stretching upwards,
Calling for divine intercession,

My heart palpitates,
Fearing the worst,
Contemplating,
That you may never return,
To me,

Great Spirit of the universe,

In your infinite wisdon,
Show me my destiny,
Am I to be with my love,
Or without her?

Open my mind to the truth,

For this unknowing is unbearable,
Killing me,
Piece by piece,
Inside my soul…
