WORK EXPERIENCE The Transcript, student newspaper of Ohio Wesleyan University Delaware, Ohio / January 2013 to December 2013 Editor-in-Chief Publish twelve issues of a printed newspaper per academic semester, which involves generating story ideas, copy editing, page design and fact-checking on a weekly basis, and reporting, photography and graphic design work as needed. Manage an editorial staff of nine other editors and a reporting/photography staff of 10 to 15, depending on the semester. Oversee online content on owutranscript.com (i.e. the printed stories and online-exclusive material) and help maintain the papers social media presence on Facebook and Twitter.

Ohio Wesleyan University Office of Residential Life Delaware, Ohio / August 2013 to Present Moderator, the House of Peace and Justice Oversee an on-campus living community of 16 social justice activists in a resident assistant-type role, enforcing university policies and upholding community-created standards of living. Act as a link between the house and Residential Life administrators in weekly staff meetings and monthly training sessions. Complete at least one program per semester related to the houses social justice mission and assist housemates with their own programs. Great Lakes Theater Marketing and Promotions Department, Cleveland, Ohio / June 4, 2013, to July 25, 2013 Marketing and Promotions Intern Generated 138 Facebook posts and curated Pinterest content for the professional theater companys use throughout its 51st season. Helped the Audience Engagement Manager plan two pre-show programs, one of which had about 80 attendants in October. Updated designs for promotional flyers and images.
