JESUS IS YAHWEH
In the Old Testament we can read that there is only one Lord, one God and one Savior. It was Yahweh (LORD), the Elohim (God) of heaven and earth, who spoke these words. Elohim is the plural form of El i (God). Beside Yahweh there is no other Lord, God and Savior. Yahweh, the Holy Name of Elohim (God), shall be remembered and abide to all generations (Psalms 45:17, 102:12). Deut 6.4 says Yahweh our Elohim is one (echad) Lord. The Hebrew word echad means compound unity and not one (yacheed) solitary unity. The Father and the Son of God share that precious Name and were called by the same Name Yahweh. Jesus in Hebrew is Yeshua/Yahushua or Yahweh is salvation. He is the I AM (Jn 8:58, Ex 3:14). JESUS/YESHUA/YASHUA IS YAHWEH PIERCED. YAHWEH HERE IS SPEAKING AND ISRAEL WILL LOOK ON HIM WHOM THEY HAVE PIERCED AND GRIEVED FOR HIM AS THE FIRSTBORN SON. Zec 12:1 This is the word of the LORD(YAHWEH) concerning Israel. The LORD, who stretches out the heavens, who lays the foundation of the earth, and who forms the spirit of man within him, declares: Zec 12:2 I am going to make Jerusalem a cup that sends all the surrounding peoples reeling. Judah will be besieged as well as Jerusalem. Zec 12:3 On that day, when all the nations of the earth are gathered against her, I will make Jerusalem an immovable rock for all the nations. All who try to move it will injure themselves. Zec 12:4 On that day I will strike every horse with panic and its rider with madness, declares the LORD. I will keep a watchful eye over the house of Judah, but I will blind all the horses of the nations. Zec 12:5 Then the leaders of Judah will say in their hearts, The people of Jerusalem are strong, because the LORD Almighty is their God. Zec 12:6 On that day I will make the leaders of Judah like a firepot in a woodpile, like a flaming torch among sheaves. They will consume right and left all the surrounding peoples, but Jerusalem will remain intact in her place. Zec 12:7 The LORD will save the dwellings of Judah first, so that the honor of the house of David and of Jerusalems inhabitants may not be greater than that of Judah. Zec 12:8 On that day the LORD will shield those who live in Jerusalem, so that the feeblest among them will be like David, and the house of David will be like God, like the Angel of the LORD going before them. Zec 12:9 On that day I will set out to destroy all the nations that attack Jerusalem. Mourning for the One They Pierced Zec 12:10 And I(YAHWEH) will pour out on the house of David and the inhabitants of Jerusalem a spirit of grace and supplication. They will look on ME (YAHWEH), the one they have pierced, and they will mourn for him as one mourns for an only child, and grieve bitterly for him as one grieves for a FIRSTBORN SON.

Confirmed by John that it was Christ the Lord: Jn 19:35 And he who saw it (the eyewitness) gives this evidence, and his testimony is true; and he knows that he tells the truth, that you may believe also. Jn 19:36 For these things took place, that the Scripture might be fulfilled (verified, carried out), Not one of His bones shall be broken; [Exod. 12:46; Num. 9:12; Ps. 34:20] Jn 19:37 And again another Scripture says, They shall look on Him Whom they have pierced. [Zech. 12:10] Rev 1:7 Behold, He is coming with the clouds, and every eye will see Him, even those who pierced Him; and all the tribes of the earth shall gaze upon Him and beat their breasts and mourn and lament over Him. Even so [must it be]. Amen (so be it). [Dan. 7:13; Zech. 12:10]

JESUS IS YAHWEH TSIDKENU/THE LORD OUR RIGHTEOUSNESS YAHWEH THE FATHER SENDS HIS SON AND SHALL BE CALLED YAHWEH TSIDKENU OR THE LORD OUR RIGHTEOUSNESS. Jer 23:5 The days are coming, declares the LORD, when I will raise up to David a righteous Branch, a King who will reign wisely and do what is just and right in the land. Jer 23:6 In his days Judah will be saved and Israel will live in safety. This is the name by which he will be called: The LORD Our Righteousness. JESUS IS YAHWEH WHO IS COMING TO JUDGE WITH FLAMES OF FIRE ISA 66:15 For behold, the LORD will come in fire And His chariots like the whirlwind, To render His anger with fury, And His rebuke with flames of fire. ISA 66:16 For the LORD will execute judgment by fire And by His sword on all flesh, And those slain by the LORD will be many. 2Th 1:7 and give relief to you who are troubled, and to us as well. This will happen when the Lord Jesus is revealed from heaven in blazing fire with his powerful angels. 2Th 1:8 He will punish those who do not know God and do not obey the gospel of our Lord Jesus. 2Th 1:9 They will be punished with everlasting destruction and shut out from the presence of the Lord and from the majesty of his power

JESUS IS YAHWEH WHO SHALL COME AND STAND AT THE MOUNT OLIVES Zec 14:3 Then the LORD will go out and fight against those nations, as he fights in the day of battle. Zec 14:4 On that day his feet will stand on the Mount of Olives, east of Jerusalem, and the Mount of Olives will be split in two from east to west, forming a great valley, with half of the mountain moving north and half moving south. JESUS IS YAHWEH COMING WITH HIS HOLY ONES Zec 14:5 You will flee by my mountain valley, for it will extend to Azel. You will flee as you fled from the earthquake in the days of Uzziah king of Judah. Then the LORD my God will come, and all the holy ones with him. Zec 14:6 On that day there will be no light, no cold or frost. Zec 14:7 It will be a unique day, without daytime or nighttimea day known to the LORD. When evening comes, there will be light. Zec 14:8 On that day living water will flow out from Jerusalem, half to the eastern sea and half to the western sea, in summer and in winter. Zec 14:9 The LORD will be king over the whole earth. On that day there will be one LORD, and his name the only name. Jude 1:14 Enoch, the seventh from Adam, prophesied about these men: See, the Lord is coming with thousands upon thousands of his holy ones Jude 1:15 to judge everyone, and to convict all the ungodly of all the ungodly acts they have done in the ungodly way, and of all the harsh words ungodly sinners have spoken against him. Rev 19:11 I saw heaven standing open and there before me was a white horse, whose rider is called Faithful and True. With justice he judges and makes war. Rev 19:12 His eyes are like blazing fire, and on his head are many crowns. He has a name written on him that no one knows but he himself. Rev 19:13 He is dressed in a robe dipped in blood, and his name is the Word of God. Rev 19:14 The armies of heaven were following him, riding on white horses and dressed in fine linen, white and clean. Rev 19:15 Out of his mouth comes a sharp sword with which to strike down the nations. He will rule them with an iron scepter. He treads the winepress of the fury of the wrath of God Almighty. Rev 19:16 On his robe and on his thigh he has this name written: KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS. JESUS IS YAHWEH SENT BY THE FATHER GOD ALMIGHTY TO RULE WITH HIM FOREVER AND DWELL WITH HIS PEOPLE. Zec 2:9 I will surely raise my hand against them so that their slaves will plunder them. Then you will know that the LORD Almighty has sent me. Zec 2:10 Shout and be glad, O Daughter of Zion. For I am coming, and I will live among you, declares the LORD. Zec 2:11 Many nations will be joined with the LORD in that day and will become my people. I will live among you and you will know that the LORD Almighty has sent me to you.

Rev 20:6 Blessed and holy are those who have part in the first resurrection. The second death has no power over them, but they will be priests of God and of Christ and will reign with him for a thousand years . Rev 21:1 Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away, and there was no longer any sea. Rev 21:3 And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, Now the dwelling of God is with men, and he will live with them. They will be his people, and God himself will be with them and be their God. Rev 21:4 He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away. Rev 21:5 He who was seated on the throne said, I am making everything new! Then he said, Write this down, for these words are trustworthy and true. Rev 21:6 He said to me: It is done. I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End. To him who is thirsty I will give to drink without cost from the spring of the water of life. Rev 21:7 He who overcomes will inherit all this, and I will be his God and he will be my son. Rev 21:22 I did not see a temple in the city, because the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb are its temple. Rev 21:23 The city does not need the sun or the moon to shine on it, for the glory of God gives it light, and the Lamb is its lamp. Rev 21:24 The nations will walk by its light, and the kings of the earth will bring their splendor into it. Rev 21:25 On no day will its gates ever be shut, for there will be no night there. Rev 21:26 The glory and honor of the nations will be brought into it. Rev 22:1 Then the angel showed me the river of the water of life, as clear as crystal, flowing from the throne of God and of the Lamb Rev 22:2 down the middle of the great street of the city. On each side of the river stood the tree of life, bearing twelve crops of fruit, yielding its fruit every month. And the leaves of the tree are for the healing of the nations. Rev 22:3 No longer will there be any curse. The throne of God and of the Lamb will be in the city, and his servants will serve him. Rev 22:4 They will see his face, and his name will be on their foreheads. Rev 22:5 There will be no more night. They will not need the light of a lamp or the light of the sun, for the Lord God will give them light. And they will reign for ever and ever. Rev 22:12 Behold, I am coming soon! My reward is with me, and I will give to everyone according to what he has done. Rev 22:13 I am the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End. Rev 22:14 Blessed are those who wash their robes, that they may have the right to the tree of life and may go through the gates into the city. Rev 22:15 Outside are the dogs, those who practice magic arts, the sexually immoral, the murderers, the idolaters and everyone who loves and practices falsehood. Rev 22:16 I, Jesus, have sent my angel to give you this testimony for the churches. I am the Root and the Offspring of David, and the bright Morning Star.

JESUS IS GOD
Our God and Savior
Our Lord Jesus Christ is our God and Savior. He is the same yesterday, today and forever. Yahweh is the God and Savior in the Old Testament so He is in the New Testament. Jesus in Hebrew Yahoshua/Yeshua is Yahweh is salvation. He is the exact representation of God His Father. He is the same as His Father, the Lord, God and Savior. God by,for and through whom all things were created. He was with the Father in the beginning. He is the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End, the Alpha and the Omega. All authority in heaven and on earth are given to Him. He is the life, the light and the source of it. It is the faith that the Apostles received and the faith we have received. Ps 89:26 26He will call out to me, You are my Father, my God, the Rock my Savior. 2Sam 22:47 47The LORD lives! Praise be to my Rock! Exalted be God, the Rock, my Savior! Ps 42:5-6 5Why are you downcast, O my soul? Why so disturbed within me? Put your hope in God, for I will yet praise him, my Savior and 6my God. 2Pet 1:1 1Simon Peter, a servant and apostle of Jesus Christ, To those who through the righteousness of our God and Savior Jesus Christ have received a faith as precious as ours Tit 2:13 13while we wait for the blessed hopethe glorious appearing of our great God and Savior, Jesus Christ, Rev 1:7-8, 17-18 7Look, He is coming with the clouds, and every eye will see Him, even those who pierced Him; and all the peoples of the earth will mourn because of Him. So shall it be! Amen. 8I am the Alpha and the Omega, says the Lord God, who is, and who was, and who is to come, the Almighty. 17When I saw him, I fell at his feet as though dead. Then he placed his right hand on me and said: Do not be afraid. I am the First and the Last. 6

18I am the Living One; I was dead, and behold I am alive for ever and ever! And I hold the keys of death and Hades.

Our Lord and Savior

He revealed all that Father has is His this includes honor, glory and power (John 16:15,17:5,10). Whatever the Father does the Son also does in the same manner (John 5:18-19). Whatever the Father says the Son also speaks (John 8:26,28). Jesus said, I and the Father are one. The Greek word used is hen which means essence. He and the Father are of one essence that is Divine nature. Isaiah 43:3a, 11 3For I am the LORD your GOD, The Holy One of Israel, your Savior; 11I, even I, am the LORD, And there is no SAVIOR besides Me. Hosea 13:4 13Yet I have been the LORD your God Since the land of Egypt; And you were not to know any god except Me, For there is no SAVIOR 1Kings 8:60 60so that all the peoples of the earth may know that the LORD is GOD; there is NO ONE else. Jude 1:25 25to the only God our Savior be glory, majesty, power and authority, through Jesus Christ our Lord, before all ages, now and forevermore! Amen. Luke 2:11 11for today in the city of David there has been born for you a SAVIOR, who is CHRIST the Lord. 1Jn 4:14 14And we have seen and testify that the Father has sent his Son to be the Savior of the world.

Phil 3:20 20But our citizenship is in heaven. And we eagerly await a Savior from there, the Lord Jesus Christ, 2Pet 1:11 11and you will receive a rich welcome into the eternal kingdom of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Matthew 22:41-45 41Now while the Pharisees were gathered together, Jesus asked them a question: 42"What do you think about the CHRIST, WHOSE SON IS HE?" They said to Him, "The son of David." 43He said to them, "Then how does David in the Spirit call Him 'LORD,' saying, 44'THE LORD SAID TO MY LORD, "SIT AT MY RIGHT HAND, UNTIL I PUT YOUR ENEMIES BENEATH YOUR FEET"'? 45"If David then calls Him 'LORD,' how is He his son?"

He is Lord of All
Our Lord Jesus Christ is the Lord. The title Lord here does not imply a human master but the Lord of heaven and earth the Lord of All. Yahweh is the Lord of All, the Lord of lords and God of gods. Our Lord Jesus asked the religious leaders of His time what they thought of Christ. Whose Son was He? When they answered the son of David, He refuted them with a question, If He was Davids son, why did David in the spirit called him Lord and the Father asked Him to sit on the throne with Him? Jesus is Lord. He is the King of kings and Lord of lords. Joshua 3:13 13It shall come about when the soles of the feet of the priests who carry the ark of the LORD, the Lord of all the earth, rest in the waters of the Jordan, the waters of the Jordan will be cut off, and the waters which are flowing down from above will stand in one heap. Deuteronomy 10:17 11For the LORD your God is the God of gods and the Lord of lords, the great, the mighty, and the awesome God who does not show partiality nor take a bribe. 1Timothy 6:15-16 15which He will bring about at the proper timeHe who is the blessed and only Sovereign, the King of kings and Lord of lords, 16who alone possesses immortality and dwells in unapproachable light, whom no man has seen or can see. To Him be honor and eternal dominion! Amen. Acts 10:36 36"The word which He sent to the sons of Israel, preaching peace through Jesus Christ (HE IS LORD OF ALL)

Romans 10:12 12For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek; for the same Lord is LORD OF ALL, abounding in riches for all who call on Him; Revelation 17:14 Victory for the Lamb 14"These will wage war against the Lamb, and the Lamb will overcome them, because He is Lord of lords and King of kings, and those who are with Him are the called and chosen and faithful. Revelation 19:16 16And on His robe and on His thigh He has a name written, "KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS."

The Creator
The Lord Jesus Christ is truly God because He was in the beginning with the Father from eternity past and enjoyed the presence and the works with Him. The Father delighted in the Son and all things in the heavens and in the earth, visible and invisible were created through Him and for Him. Proverbs 30:4 4Who has ascended into heaven and descended? Who has gathered the wind in His fists? Who has wrapped the waters in His garment? WHO HAS ESTABLISHED ALL THE ENDS OF THE EARTH? WHAT IS HIS NAME or HIS SONS NAME? Surely you know! John 1:2-3 2HE WAS IN THE BEGINNING WITH GOD. 3ALL THINGS CAME INTO BEING THROUGH HIM, AND APART FROM HIM NOTHING CAME INTO BEING THAT HAS COME INTO BEING. Colossians 1:16 16For BY HIM ALL THINGS WERE CREATED, both in the heavens and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authoritiesALL THINGS HAVE BEEN CREATED THROUGH HIM AND FOR HIM. Revelation 3:14 14"To the angel of the church in Laodicea write: The Amen, the faithful and true Witness, the BEGINNING of the creation of God, says this:

The Father called Him God and Lord

Many who do not believe on the Deity of Christ used the scriptures erroneously. He is man because He called on God, He revealed the Father as the Only True God and He got hungry, got tired, slept and died as a human. They missed what the scriptures declare that He took the form of a man. God the Father called His Son God and Lord, is worshiped, sited on the Throne and it was through Him the heavens and the earth were created. Hebrews 1:5-13 (Ps 2:7, 45:6, 102:25-27, 110:1) 5For to which of the angels did He ever say, "YOU ARE MY SON, TODAY I HAVE BEGOTTEN YOU"? And again "I WILL BE A FATHER TO HIM AND HE SHALL BE A SON TO ME"? 6And when He again brings the firstborn into the world, He says, "AND LET ALL THE ANGELS OF GOD WORSHIP HIM." 7And of the angels He says, "WHO MAKES HIS ANGELS WINDS, AND HIS MINISTERS A FLAME OF FIRE." 8But of the Son He says, "YOUR THRONE, O GOD, IS FOREVER AND EVER, AND THE RIGHTEOUS SCEPTER IS THE SCEPTER OF HIS KINGDOM. 9"YOU HAVE LOVED RIGHTEOUSNESS AND HATED LAWLESSNESS; THEREFORE GOD, YOUR GOD, HAS ANOINTED YOU WITH THE OIL OF GLADNESS ABOVE YOUR COMPANIONS." 10And, "YOU, LORD, IN THE BEGINNING LAID THE FOUNDATION OF THE EARTH, AND THE HEAVENS ARE THE WORKS OF YOUR HANDS; 11THEY WILL PERISH, BUT YOU REMAIN; AND THEY ALL WILL BECOME OLD LIKE A GARMENT, 12AND LIKE A MANTLE YOU WILL ROLL THEM UP; LIKE A GARMENT THEY WILL ALSO BE CHANGED BUT YOU ARE THE SAME, AND YOUR YEARS WILL NOT COME TO AN END." 13But to which of the angels has He ever said, "SIT AT MY RIGHT HAND, UNTIL I MAKE YOUR ENEMIES A FOOTSTOOL FOR YOUR FEET"?

Psalms 90:1-2 1LORD, You have been our dwelling place in all generations. 2 Before the mountains were born Or YOU GAVE BIRTH TO THE EARTH AND THE WORLD, Even from everlasting to everlasting, YOU ARE GOD.

The Prophets Confirmed His Deity

Before Christ the Lord took the form of a man the Old Testament prophets knew and proclaimed who He was. Through their inspired writings the word of God showed consistency and harmony in revealing who the Son of God is. Psalms 2:1-2, 6-7, 11-12 1Why are the nations in an uproar And the peoples devising a vain thing? 2The kings of the earth take their stand And the rulers take counsel together Against the LORD and against HIS ANOINTED, saying, 6But as for Me, I have installed MY KING Upon Zion, My holy mountain. 7I will surely tell of the decree of the LORD: He said to Me, You are MY SON, Today I have begotten You. 11Worship the LORD with reverence And rejoice with trembling. 12Do homage to the Son, that He not become angry, and you perish in the way, For His wrath may soon be kindled. How blessed are all who take refuge in Him! Isaiah 9:6 6For A CHILD WILL BE BORN TO US, a son will be given to us; And the government will rest on His shoulders; And His name will be called Wonderful Counselor, MIGHTY GOD, ETERNAL FATHER, Prince of Peace. Isaiah 40:3/ Matthew 3:3 3A voice is calling, Clear the way for the LORD in the wilderness; Make smooth in the desert a highway for OUR GOD. Proverbs 8:22-30 22The LORD POSSESSED ME at the BEGINNING OF HIS WAY, BEFORE HIS WORKS OF OLD.

The Apostles Confirmed His Deity

Nothing is more reliable and competent to believe and receive teachings from other than from the testimony and witness of those who have been with our Lord Jesus Christ. They have lived, touched, heard and given the authority to proclaim and teach His words. They were commanded to write these scriptures to testify the true identity and being of our Lord Jesus Christ. John 1:1-3, 14 The Deity of Jesus Christ 1In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the WORD WAS GOD. The Word Made Flesh 14And the Word became flesh, and dwelt among us, and we saw His GLORY, glory as of the only begotten from the Father, full of grace and truth. Revelation 19:13 13He is clothed with a robe dipped in blood, and HIS NAME is called The WORD OF GOD. Romans 9:5 5whose are the fathers, and from whom is the CHRIST according to the flesh, who is over all, GOD BLESSED FOREVER. Amen. Colossians 2:9 9For in Him all the FULLNESS OF DEITY DWELLS in bodily form,

Titus 2:13 13looking for the blessed hope and the appearing of the glory of our GREAT GOD AND SAVIOR, Christ Jesus, 2Peter 1:1 1Simon Peter, a bond-servant and apostle of Jesus Christ, To those who have received a FAITH of the SAME KIND as ours, by the righteousness of our GOD AND SAVIOR, Jesus Christ: 1John 5:20 20And we know that the Son of God has come, and has given us understanding so that we may know Him who is true; and we are in Him who is true, in His Son JESUS CHRIST. This is the TRUE GOD AND ETERNAL LIFE.

Spirits/Dominions Cant Deny His Deity

Some may not be convinced by human testimonies but invisible powers or spirits bowing down to the Lordship of Christ manifest His Deity and being the Son of God. These spirits knew who and where our Lord Jesus came from and what the Son of God has for them in the future. Matthew 8:29 29And they cried out, saying, "What business do we have with each other, SON OF GOD? Have You come here to torment us before the time?" Luke 8:27- 28 27And when He came out onto the land, He was met by a man from the city who was possessed with demons; and who had not put on any clothing for a long time, and was not living in a house, but in the tombs. 28Seeing Jesus, he cried out and fell before Him, and said in a loud voice, "What business do we have with each other, Jesus, SON OF THE MOST HIGH GOD? I beg You, do not torment me." Luke 4:41 41Demons also were coming out of many, shouting, "You are the SON OF GOD!" But rebuking them, He would not allow them to speak, because they knew Him to be the CHRIST.

Jesus Christ Confirmed His Deity

Our Lord Jesus confirmed His Deity by attesting to the faith Thomas has expressed and that he is blessed because he believed and confessed that He is Lord and God. He shall come again in His glory with His angels and shall sit on His glorious throne. The Jewish high priest clearly understood the answer of Jesus Christ when He said that the He is the Christ the Son of God (calling God His Father making Himself equal with God) and hereafter they shall see Him sitting at the right hand of power and shall come on the clouds of heaven. They have put Him to death because to them the Lords claim was blasphemous and deserved death. John 20:28-29 28Thomas answered and said to Him, MY LORD AND MY GOD!" 29Jesus said to him, "Because you have seen Me, have you BELIEVED? Blessed are they who did not see, and yet BELIEVED." Matthew 25:31 The Judgment 31"But when the Son of Man comes in HIS GLORY, and all the angels with Him, then He will SIT ON HIS GLORIOUS THRONE. Matthew 26:62-66 62The high priest stood up and said to Him, "Do You not answer? The Son of God from Heaven

Jesus Christ is the Son of God. This revelation did not come from human wisdom or spirit but from God the Father and with this revelation is that Jesus came down from heaven and that He is the Lord and above all. Our Lord Jesus Christ testified that He was not from this world and came not from this world but from heaven where His Father is. The Son of God came down from heaven where He was before. These statements proved the teachings of His apostles that He was in the form of God before He took the form of man. Matthew 16:13-17 13Now when Jesus came into the district of Caesarea Philippi, He was asking His disciples, WHO DO PEOPLE SAY THAT THE SON OF MAN IS? 14And they said, Some say John the Baptist; and others, Elijah; but still others, Jeremiah, or one of the prophets. 15He said to them, BUT WHO DO YOU SAY THAT I AM ? 16Simon Peter answered, YOU ARE THE CHRIST, THE SON OF THE LIVING GOD. 17And Jesus said to him, BLESSED ARE YOU, Simon Barjona, BECAUSE FLESH AND BLOOD DID NOT REVEAL THIS TO YOU, BUT MY FATHER WHO IS IN HEAVEN. Equal with God the Father

The Jews stoned our Lord Jesus not because of the good things He has done but because He called God His Father and saying He and the Father are one making Himself equal with God and God (John 5:18,10:30-33,36). Is our Lord Jesus really equal and one with God the Father? Isnt the Father greater than the Son? To what extent our Lord Jesus is equal and one with God? The Father of course is greater that the Son because He is His Father and Jesus is His Son but they are equal and one in all things. Whatever the Father does the Son does in like manner. Whatever the Father has is of the Son. The Son shares the glory with the Father even before the world was. John 5:18-23 Jesus' Equality with God 18For this reason therefore the Jews were seeking all the more to kill Him, because He not only was breaking the Sabbath, but also was calling GOD HIS OWN FATHER, MAKING HIMSELF EQUAL WITH GOD. 19Therefore Jesus answered and was saying to them, "Truly, truly, I say to you, the Son can do nothing of Himself, UNLESS it is something He sees the Father doing; for whatever the Father does, these things the Son also does in LIKE MANNER. 20"For the Father loves the Son, and shows Him all things that He Himself is DOING; and the Father will show Him greater works than these, so that you will marvel. 21"For just as the Father raises the dead and gives them life, EVEN SO THE SON ALSO GIVES LIFE TO WHOM HE WISHES . 22"For not even the Father judges anyone, but He has given all judgment to the Son, 23so that ALL WILL HONOR the Son even as they HONOR the Father. Worshiped with the Father

The First and Second Commandment of the Old Covenant God gave to Israel was that they shall have no other gods before Him and shall not make, bow or worship other than to Him (Exodus 20:3-5). Will God be the first to break His Law when He asked the angels and all men and all creation visible and invisible, thrones and dominions to worship and bow down in the name of Jesus Christ? He is not because our Lord Jesus Christ is His Only Son and shares all the honor and the glory and the power with Him from eternity to eternity. Isaiah 45:23 23I HAVE SWORN BY MYSELF, The word has gone forth from My mouth in righteousness And will not turn back, THAT TO ME EVERY KNEE WILL BOW, EVERY TONGUE WILL SWEAR ALLEGIANCE. Hebrews 1:6 6And when He again brings the firstborn into the world, He says, "AND LET ALL THE ANGELS OF GOD WORSHIP HIM." John 9:35-38 35Jesus heard that they had put him out, and finding him, He said, "Do you believe in the Son of Man?" 36He answered, "Who is He, Lord, that I may BELIEVE in Him?" 37Jesus said to him, "You have both seen Him, and He is the one who is talking with you." 38And he said, "Lord, I believe." And he WORSHIPED Him.

Remains Forever
Jesus Christ is the same Yesterday, Today and Forever. Who was Jesus before the foundation of the world shall remain. He was the same Lord, Son of God and God before the world was, when He entered the earth, when He returned to where He was before and shall be when He comes again and for eternity. He was given authority, glory, sovereign power, everlasting dominion and a kingdom that shall not pass away. John 12:34 34The crowd spoke up, "We have heard from the Law that the Christ WILL REMAIN FOREVER, so how can you say, 'The Son of Man must be lifted up'? Who is this 'Son of Man'? Hebrews 1:11-12 11THEY WILL PERISH, BUT YOU REMAIN; AND THEY ALL WILL BECOME OLD LIKE A GARMENT, 12AND LIKE A MANTLE YOU WILL ROLL THEM UP; LIKE A GARMENT THEY WILL ALSO BE CHANGED BUT YOU ARE THE SAME, AND YOUR YEARS WILL NOT COME TO AN END." Reigns Forever
Those who maintain that our Lord Jesus Christ is only human believe his authority, lordship and power are only temporal because it was given to Him and shall be surrendered to God in the last day. This scripture 1Corinthian 15:27-28 they say confirmed their belief, For HE (GOD) HAS PUT ALL THINGS IN SUBJECTION UNDER HIS FEET. But when He says, All things are put in subjection, it is evident that He (The Father) is excepted who put all things in subjection to Him (Christ). When all things are subjected to Him, then the Son Himself also will be subjected to the One

who subjected all things to Him, so that God may be all in all. It is erroneous to conclude that Christ shall not reign and rule anymore when He subjects Himself to God. Nothing in the scripture mentioned that our Lord Jesus Christ shall not reign anymore. He shall be in subjection to the Father because God was His Father and He was given a commandment to put all things under Him and the head of Christ is God. Rather the scripture proclaimed that our Lord Jesus Christ shall reign forever, His Kingdom shall be of no end, blessing, honor, glory and dominion shall be forever and ever and He shall sit on His Throne with the Father and shall reign forever. Daniel 7:13-14 13 I kept looking in the night visions, And behold, with the clouds of heaven One like a SON OF MAN WAS COMING, And He came up to the Ancient of Days And was presented before Him. 14And TO HIM WAS GIVEN DOMINION, GLORY AND KINGDOM , That all the peoples, nations and men of every language MIGHT SERVE HIM. God, Lord & Savior Coming to Appear

The Scripture said that Jesus is the image of the invisible God, the radiance of His glory and exact representation of His nature (Hebrews 1:3). No man has seen or can see God the Father (1 Timothy 6:16). Jesus Christ was the Lord who was prophesied to come and appear where all eyes shall see as the great God and Savior. He shall come to bring everlasting salvation to the saints but wrath and judgment to the

The Beginning and the End

God alone is the Beginning and the End. Our Lord Jesus Christ has spoken. He is the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last and the Beginning and the End. Nothing came into existence and being without Him; for without Him nothing was made that was made (John 1:3). All things visible and invisible were created by Him and for Him. He is before all things and in Him all things hold together (Colossians 1:16-17). He is the cause and sustainer of all things and is the end of all things (1Corinthians 8:6). All things are given and handed to the Son (John 17:10). Jesus is the Beginning and the End as His Father is the Beginning and the End. It is clear from the Scriptures that only God alone possesses such attributes and qualities as the First and the Last, the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End (Isaiah 44:6). The LORD, the first and the last is the I Am (Isaiah 41:4) and Jesus came 20

from above, the beginning and the end is the I Am (John 8:23 -24). And finally when Jesus comes again it shall be the end. THE TRUE NATURE OF CHRIST, THE SON OF GOD & THE SON OF MAN GOD TAKING THE FORM OF MAN
Let us make a biblical investigation of the nature of Jesus Christ. Those who do not believe on the Deity of Christ conclude that Jesus is man because of the verses that say He is a man or man therefore He has no other nature. His existence began when He was born through a virgin named Mary through the power of the Most High. Jesus is man because He thirst, hunger, slept, and die. God can never thirst or hunger or die. God is a spirit and Jesus has flesh and bones. God is not man. But the question is, Can God take the form of a man? They fail to understand Jesus was not man in the beginning. He became man when He was sent by the Father to earth for our redemption. He needed a human body for His mission on earth and that body is offered as the ultimate sacrifice for our sins and the precious blood unblemished and unspotted for our cleansing.

knowing that you were not redeemed with perishable things like silver or gold from your futile way of life inherited from your forefathers, 1PE 1:19 but with precious blood, as of a lamb unblemished and spotless, the blood of Christ. God is a spirit and a spirit can not have a body or a blood. So Christ the Son of God has to take the form of a man. Now we should establish that the Christ, the Son of the Living God really existed before He took the form of a man. We agree that there are verses of Scriptures saying that Jesus is a man its simply because He took its form. But why is He also called the Son of God and the Jews in fact killed Him for this title. Extra-Biblical Historical Evidence in Support of the Deity of Jesus Christ

The references here provided are given to demonstrate that the earliest of Christians did indeed worship Jesus Christ as God. Lucian, a second century Greek satirist, mentions that the Christians worshiped Jesus: "The Christians, you know, worship a man to this day--the distinguished personage who introduced their novel rites, and was crucified on that account...You see, these misguided creatures start with the general conviction that they are immortal for all time, which explains the contempt of death and voluntary self-devotion which are so common among them; and then it was impressed on them by their original lawgiver that they are all brothers, from the moment that they are converted, and deny the gods of Greece, and worship the crucified sage, and live after his laws. All this they take quite on faith, with the result that they despise all worldly goods alike, regarding them merely as common property." (emphasis added) Pliny the Younger, Roman governor of Bithynia in Asia Minor around 112 AD, wrote to the Emperor Trajan observing that the Christians sang hymns to Christ "as to a god": "[The Christians] were in the habit of meeting on a certain fixed day before it was light, when they sang in alternate verses a hymn to Christ, as to a god..." Further non-Biblical evidence to show that Christians were recognized as those who worshiped Jesus is seen in some first century Pagan graffiti, which attempts to ridicule Christians by depicting a believer worshiping a horse type headed god on a cross: There is also the testimony of the non-canonical writings of the early Christians. The list below is only a mere sampling as many quotations could be cited.* St. Ignatius of Antioch. It is well worth noting that Ignatius was an early church father who was a disciple of the Apostle John. Throughout his letters it can clearly be seen that Ignatius was greatly influenced by John's high Christology (For example, compare Ignatius' statements of Jesus' Divinity with what John writes at: John 1:1, 18; 5:18; 8:58; 20:28). Ignatius to the Smyrnaeans Chapter 1 1:1 "I give glory to Jesus Christ the God who bestowed such wisdom upon you; for I have perceived that ye are established in faith immovable, being as it were nailed on the cross of the Lord Jesus Christ, in flesh and in spirit, and firmly grounded in love in the blood of Christ, fully persuaded as touching our Lord that He is truly of the race of David according to the flesh, but Son of God by the Divine will and power, truly born of a virgin and baptized by John that all righteousness might be fulfilled by Him." Chapter 6 6:1 "Let no man be deceived. Even the heavenly beings and the glory of the angels and the rulers visible and invisible, if they believe not in the blood of Christ [who is God], judgment awaiteth them also. _He that receiveth let him receive._ Let not office puff up any man; for faith and love are all in all, and nothing is preferred before them." Polycarp Polycarp was also believed to have been a disciple of the apostle John. Lightfoot points out that after Ignatius was executed, Polycarp collected together his epistles (Lightfoot, p. 165). The Epistle of Polycarp to the Philippians 12:2 "Now may the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, and the eternal Highpriest Himself the [Son of God Jesus Christ, build you up in faith and truth, and in all gentleness and in all avoidance of wrath and in forbearance and long suffering and in patient endurance and in purity; and may He grant unto you a lot and portion among His saints, and to us with you, and to all that are under heaven, who shall believe on our Lord and God Jesus Christ and on His Father that raised him from the dead." (emphasis added). Tatian the Syrian, Address to the Greeks (C. 165 - 175 A.D.): "We are not playing the fool, you Greeks, nor do we talk nonsense, when we report that God was born in the form of a man." St. Melito of Sardes, Fragment in Anastasius of Sinai (C. 177 A.D.): "The activities of Christ after His Baptism, and especially His miracles, gave indication and assurance to the world of the Deity hidden in His flesh. Being God and likewise perfect man, He gave positive indications of His two natures: of His Deity, by the miracles during the three years following after His Baptism; of His humanity, in the thirty years which came before His Baptism, during which, by reason of His condition according to the flesh, he concealed the signs of His Deity, although He was the true God existing before the ages. "

St. Irenaeus of Lyons, Against Heresies 3, 19, 1 (C. 180 AD): "Nevertheless, what cannot be said of anyone else who ever lived, that He is Himself in His own right God and Lord and Eternal King and Only-begotten and Incarnate Word, proclaimed as such by all the Prophets and by the Apostles and by the Spirit Himself, may be seen by all who have attained to even a small portion of the truth. The Scriptures would not have borne witness to these things concerning Him, if, like everyone else, He were mere man. But that He had in Himself what no other ever had, that pre-eminent generation by the Most High Father; and that He also experienced that pre-eminent birth from a Virgin, - the divine Scriptures testify to both in His regard."
