UNICEF Mongolia
The United Nations Childrens Fund (UNICEF) in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia is looking for an Institution with extensive experience in consultancy services to conduct Technical Consultancy on Child Friendly Community planning and documentation during 14 October to 30 November 2013. (7 wks) Background One of the objectives of UNICEF country programme 2012-2016 is to model Child Friendly Communities programme in Khuvsgul aimag and Nalaikh district of Mongolia. Several steps were undertaken to launch the process in the focus areas and guide local partners in the process of developing and implementing the CFC programme. Draft tools for assessment of CFC by children and other stakeholders were developed by the Working Group. Purpose of Assignment: Assess current local government planning processes and integrate CFC planning in this process; Facilitate stakeholder consultation, CFC assessment and planning process in Khuvsgul province and Nalaikh district; Finalize manuals of CFC monitoring and assessment tools (including data collection forms in synchronization with the Child Rights Indicators of NAC) as well as planning guidelines; develop a template for the training structure. Submission of Applications Interested institutions are requested to collect Request for proposal from the reception of UN House and submit the following information: a) Letter of Interest b) Technical Proposal and Work Plan with Timelines c) Proposed Budget and Fees (as per RFP instructions) d) The applying institution should be able to demonstrate: Recorded experience of the institution in conducting child friendly community planning; Demonstration of the strong capacity to Proven track record in successful development of handbooks and manuals for nationwide use, Proven experience of conducting social research and assessments; Ability to analyze complex information and develop project documentation through consultative process; (Please see details from RFP) e) CV and completed P-11 form of professionals involved in the assignment.
