My name is Syahrain Binti Zainal Abidin. I am an 18 years old girl pursuing a Business Management diploma at KPTM.

I come from a small community of government servants living quarters in Sepang , KLIA. Both my parents work as government servants to the Ministry of Agriculture of Selangor. They are currently working at Serdang. I have five siblings of sisters. Myoldest sister has completed her studies in Hotel and Catering and has successfully obtained her diploma at Merlimau Polytechnics, Malacca. My second sister is currently attending IPG KampusPerempuan Melayu, Malacca pursuing a degree in Preschool Education. My third sister is alsostudying Preschool Education at UNITI College in Port Dickson and finally my youngest sister iscurrently a Form Four student studying at SMK Kompleks KLIA.Looking back on my days as a primary and secondary school student, I must say that I havesuccessfully obtained more than a satisfactory result in the previous national examinations. For instance, I have obtained a total of three As, one B and one C in UPSR (Ujian Penilaian Sekolah Rendah), a total of three As, three Bs and two Cs in PMR (Penilaian Menengah Rendah) and a total of two A-, six B+ and a C+ in last years SPM (Sijil P elajaran Malaysia) examination.Other than that, I am also an active student in extra-curricular activities at school. Some of mynoted roles are dated back from when I was Form One of which when I entered the schools marching com petition as a member of Puteri Islam and in Form Five again as a member of Pengakap (Boys Scout). As soon as the examination (SPM) was over, I enrolled myself into GIATMARA choosing acourse in sewing clothes and have officially finished it prior to entering KPTM.The reason I decided to pursue a diploma in Business Management is because I want to knowabout the marketing world and the vital strategies that are needed in order to make a business work.Furthermore, my oldest sister has been dreaming of opening up a bakery shop to satisfy her passion of baking cakes and cookies. By obtaining a diploma in Business Management, it will help me to learnmore about business and eventually will help me to help my sister to manage her business in thefuture. In shaa Allah.I have been told that Business Studies is one of the toughest subjects offered by anyuniversities and colleges. I have doubts at first on choosing this subject as my career path but thanksto my family I finally understood the reality of business world. In accordance of helping my sister in building her business, I would also hoping to become one of the successful businesswomen inMalaysia by opening a boutique to market my own line and brand of clothing and therefore to followthe lead of our great Prophet Muhammad (Pbuh) who was a very successful merchant in his days.Thank you

Essay MARA As a part of 7-members family and the oldest among us, I have always been taught to be a kind-hearted person, optimistic, responsible, honest and determined in every good effort I do. I was bornon 17 September 1993 in Hospital Universiti Sains Malaysia, Kelantan and was given nameMuhammad Faiz Taqiyuddin b Mohd Nor. Up until now this name really suits me well. Being born asa first child, my parent always place a big hope upon me to fulfill my responsibility as a humankind, that is to succeed in this world and in the eternal life as well. When I was 13years old, I saw my friends sister graduated as an optometrist student from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM) in year 2006. From that precious moment, I could see hisparent smile in enthusiasm, seeing the first child of them had achieved what she had been dreamingand striving all the years and I promised to myself that I would be like their sister, perhaps better. My family is not classified as rich, but we lived simply and happily without any lack in life necessity. My father used to work as a employee of Biro Tata Negara cawangan Kelantan and now he has beenpromoted to Director of BTN while my mother as a teacher at SMK Putera. When looking deeply intothemselves, my feeling always touched by their attitudes and sacrifices in order to see me succeed inmy study.I finished my primary school years with flying colours; 5A in UPSR. From that particular moment, Iwas offered to continue my study at a brilliant boarding school with title Sekolah Sekolah MenengahUgama Arab (SMUA). I started my new life in secondary school on SMUA Maahad Muhammadi (L) inyear 2006. On 2008, I sat for my PMR examination and with Gods will, I got straight A s. Praise toGod. From all the years, I have learnt the importance of trustworthy in friendship, family, God, self and how do all the values related to each others. I realized that those things really play big roles inmy life. Four years after that, I decided to get myself transferred into Sekolah MenengahKebangsaan Ismail Petra in 20010. I was lucky to have my mother, who work at the school just nextto my new school. So, my mother could visit me more frequently and could keep his eyes on me foreverything I do.Despite of those brilliant achievements in my study, I had never forgotten to focus on co-curricular activities. To me, all those activities would cultivate my personal building like self-confidence, positive-thinking and many other values that I could not retrieve them from academicslearning merely. I like camping, and because of my capability in leadership, I participated in severalnational camping organize by Persekutuan Pengakap Malaysia and had won several prizes from mycontribution and the best achievement was when I participate in Jamboree Dunia that was held atThailand on year 2009. Getting involved in such activities had taught me on how to overcome thecrowd-fears. Other than that, I also realized that cooperation was very essential in order for us to getour goals in anything we dream about. Also, I was also appointed to be the Ahli Majlis Tertinggi(AMT) in scout organization in my school. I also like sport, so I participated in several kinds of themlike Olahraga and badmiton. However, I enjoyed playing badminton the most because I like the kindof sport with vigorous and swift movements. The best achievement I had was when I was in form 4;my team won the first prize in school level. I was very grateful to my friends and teachers for giving

me opportunity and trust to be the leader in our organization. From that moment, it really reminds me of a clich that my best friend used to say The best of a friend can offer is that trust. As mention earlier, I was transferred to a new school on 2010 and I had to sit for SPM thatparticular year. I got 9A and 1B in my trial examination. Nevertheless, I had proven that then whenthere is a will there is a way. From my trial result, I tried to motivate myself to be more determinedand hardworking in order to face the most remarkable event on that year, SPM. I got the slip withfull of enjoyment and grateful dancing together in my mind. Praise to god for giving the brilliantresu lt. With the result 10AS

, consequently I remembered MARA. From the encouragement by myteachers and family, I applied the scholarship from MARA. However, I failed to get the scholarshipdue to few unknown reason. Then I continued my studies at Pusat Asasi Sains, Universiti Malaya(PASUM). My result from this institution are not very good as I have been encountered a few newproblem during my period studying here. First of all, this is my first time ever studying outside of my beloved state, Kelantan. So I have been affected by the syndrome that people called it CultureShock. Moreover, PASUM is one of the toughest foundation in Malaysia. So, my result is expectablecompared to all syllabus that I have to studies in one year period.Whenever they asked me for why I chose this course I wo uld simply reply I like biology and I loveanything related to medics . I guess someday they will know what I meant to say. Another distinct reason for why I chose medical course is that medicine plays an important role in this new era since it builds ones quality of life. By using cre ativity and technical skills, a doctor is a life saver.Furthermore, an doctor is a problem solver. This can be proven when a doctor is needed toovercome the news pathogen that had recently encounter. This newly discovered virus are causemainly due to this hectic life that we are leading nowaday. I know it sounds cheesy, but I really enjoyhelping people. I also enjoy learning, solving problems, and being intellectually stimulated. There areother jobs that fulfill some of these requirements, but medicine seems to fulfill them all for me.To further my view of future, I ought to think of Royal College of Surgeon, Ireland. The universityoffers the study of medical studies that consume about 3 years of study. The primary reason for whyI choose this university was that because of its excellent academic performance. This dream wassince I was a young boy when I had my friend to study there. Since then, I have aimed this universityfor quite a long time. I hope that one I could really retrieve my dreams into reality.Malaysia is now searching for more available potentials in order to diverge its potential resources. With this hope of nation, I wish I could be a part of the successors and change Malaysia into a bettercountry. After finishing my undergraduate study, I hope I can serve my country well. The first thing isto resolve the current environmental issues and change Malaysia to be a role-model of the world.Second is to serve the humankind in order to fight pandemic disease and other threats to humanlife. With this kind of determination, I strongly believe that I can make Malaysia a better place tolive. With that, I end my writings with full of hope.

I will also eagerlylearn the way of their working cultures, environment and crisis-management skills which mightbe applicable into my career soon.
