A pentagonal prism side of base 50 mm and axis length 100 mm is kept on H.P. on its base with a side of base perpendicular to V.P. A square hole of side 55 mm is drilled with its axis perpendicular to V.P., parallel to H.P. and bisecting the axis of pentagonal prism. Draw the development of lateral surface. Assume the faces of the hole equally inclined to H.P.

A hexagonal prism side of base 35 mm and axis length 80 mm is kept on the H.P. on its base with a side of base of making an angle of 450 with V.P. A rectangular hole is cut through it the axis of which is perpendicular to V.P., parallel to H.P. and bisecting the axis of the prism. The smaller rectangular face of the hole is inclined at 30 0 to the H.P. Draw the development of the lateral surface of the hexagonal prism.

A cylinder of 60 mm diameter of base and 80 mm length of axis is resting on the H.P. on its base. It has a pentagonal hole of 35 mm side the axis of which is perpendicular to V.P. and parallel to H.P. The hole axis is 6 mm to the right of the cylinder axis and 40 mm above the base of cylinder. If the hole has one face parallel to the profile plane and to the left side of the axis of the cylinder. Draw the development of the lateral surface of the cylinder with pentagonal hole.

A pentagonal pyramid resting on its base on H.P. with side of base 40 mm and height 75 mm is having one side of base parallel to V.P. A square hole of sides 24 mm is drilled through it such that its axis is parallel to H.P. and perpendicular to V.P. and intersects the axis of the pyramid 30 mm from the base, the faces of the hole are equally inclined to H.P. Draw development of the lateral surface of the pyramid with hole.

A square pyramid side 65 mm, axis 100 mm is resting on the H.P. on its base with two side of base inclined at 300 to V.P. An axial square hole of sides 35 mm is cut through the pyramid so that the vertical faces of square hole are equally inclined to V.P. Draw the projections and show the DLS.

A cone of base diameter 80 mm and height 100 mm is resting on its base on H.P. It is penetrated by a horizontal rectangular hole of sides 40 mm * 35 mm such that the axis of hole is perpendicular to V.P. and parallel to H.P. One of the corners of hole is 25 mm above and 20 mm to the right side from the left most point of the base of cone. The smaller side of hole is inclined at 300 with H.P. Draw the DLS of cone with hole.

It is cut y an auxiliary inclined plane (AIP) such that the true shape of the section will be a parabola with the axis length equal to 50 mm, draw the DLS of cone removing the apex.
