This is your chance to create something unexpected that will not

Competition Details
Artwork Theme
Capture the spirit of your region. Show us what you love about where you live.

It’s up to you. You can create your artwork on paper, canvas, board or a combination these Your entry can be a painting,

drawing or collage. You can use photography as part of a mixed media or collage work as long as it is your original photograph.
Computer graphics and scanned images are a-OK only if you have created them.
Format
Your entry must be square because the winning artwork will appear on the White pages cover in a square frame – you don’t
want us cropping your work of art now do you? There is no limit on maximum size. And remember, keep it PG rated. Your
artwork must be suitable for publication on the cover of the White pages®.
How to enter
There are two ways to enter:
1. Postal entry
Send a high quality colour photo of your artwork attached with the entry form to:

2. Enter Online
Upload a high quality colour photo of your artwork at yellowartawards.co.nz
Please make sure your entry reaches us no later than 5pm on Monday 19 October. We will ask you to send us the original
artwork only if you are selected a finalist.
Judging and Public Voting
All entries are assessed by a panel of independent expert judges. Three finalists will be selected from each region and their
artwork will appear on the website for public voting. The artwork with the most votes is the winner. There will be a first and
second runner up for each region.
Winners will be announced when the new White pages book for their region is distributed.

What happens to the Artworks

The finalists’ winning artworks will be auctioned at the Yellow Art Awards Auction after the competition has finished.

Terms and Conditions

• You can only enter one artwork into the competition per region per year.
• You must enter in the region in which you reside.
• Finalists will be asked to submit their original artwork. All courier costs to be covered by the artist.
• The judges’ decision is final and will not enter into any discussion or correspondence about the decision.
• The outcome of the public voting is final and will not enter into any discussion or correspondence about the decision.
• All finalists’ entries become the property of Yellow Pages Group Limited. By entering the awards, the finalists agree that Yellow Pages Group
will own all copyright in the artwork entries and is free to use the artwork as it sees fit.
• Information collected about the finalists will be used for profiling them in Yellow’s directories, the media and Yellow’s website.
• Entries should be suitable for general viewing; therefore we reserve the right to disqualify any artworks deemed inappropriate. Artworks
containing brands and logos are not acceptable. The entrant warrants they have permission for the use of an image if it displays a person.
• Entrants warrant that they are not breaching anyone’s legal or moral rights, e.g. intellectual property, fair trading and defamation.
