TECNOLOGA PATENTADA
PATENTED TECHNOLOGY
The TEXO system has been developed by the company TENSOFORMA Trading S.R.L. for more than 15 years. The system is based on the union of a textile membrane (of different compositions) to an elastomer. This union allows for the absorption of all the longitudinal and transverse forces applied to the panel. The special characteristics of the elastomer enable it to return to its original state once the momentary stress has ended. Tests performed at facilities that are more than 15 years old guarantee the maintenance of 90% the residual stress. The system is continuously evolving to offer innovative solutions to the different architectural and interior designs. For further information, consult our team about the latest product novelties.
DESIGN POSSIBILITIES
The TEXO system places no limits on creativity so as to offer the desired solution. Our team of designers works with clients to reflect their ideas and study the different possibilities, evaluating different changes in colour, material in the textile membrane, silkscreen printing and shapes and modulations. According to the desired design, the technical team plans the anchor system that best adapts to the building or application, without modifying the external aesthetics defined by the client. The use of fabrics with different degrees of light permeability, combined with an LED technology lighting system, permits the creation of a unique sculpture with a changing aspect. TEXO also possesses a curved application to adapt to more irregular spaces, as well as triangular and trapezoidal modulations. Customised panels are possible with this system, where the size limits are only determined by the ability to transport it to its final destination (up to 12 x 2.5 m). TEXO enables you to carry out a UNIQUE project.
EASY CLEANING
The surface treatment carried out on the panel fabrics minimises the fixation of dirt and the proliferation of fungi on the surface. It can be easily cleaned using water.

ReSIStencIa y eStaBIlIdad
FIRE RESISTANCE
Fire resistance varies, according to the materials chosen for the membrane, between the range of M1 to M0, so all the variables are non-propagators of fire and, of course, they do not emit drops or harmful fumes. The classification satisfies all the required regulations for the uses that system is designed for.

FACHADA VENTILADA

BUILDING RESTORATION
The TEXO system is perfect for integral building restorations. Thanks to the lightness of the material and the fact that the stress distribution of the mesh avoids transmissions to the existing structure, TEXO, unlike other types of applications, does not require any type of structural reinforcement. The lightness and modularity that characterise TEXO facilitate quick and non-problematic restoration work.

PVC
The mesh comprised of the polyester fabric and the PVC coating is the most commonly used composition in textile architecture for different reasons: its excellent flexibility, its economic price, its good and adequate resistance to wrinkling, warping and passage of time, and its optimal resistance to UV rays, among others. The technology used guarantees balanced tension in both directions, fostered by its union to the elastomer element. There is also a wide range of colours together with the additional possibility of digital printing. In the case of micro-perforated fabric, it has the property of enabling to see from inside out but limiting the vision from outside in. The fabric is 100% recyclable at specialised plants, thus guaranteeing respect for the environment. It also satisfies all the fire resistance requirements demanded for this type of applications.

SILICONA
ETFE (ethylene/tetrafluorethylene) belongs to the Teflon family. This material has 98% transparency, it permits the passage of UV rays, so plant life can grow on the inside; it is extremely light, compared with glass it weighs 1%; it transmits light more efficiently; it is very stable at extreme temperatures and it is the best insulating material. It is not affected by ageing, by climate or by contamination and its protective layer prevents it from soiling, repelling particulates in the air that adhere to other materials. It permits light play with backlighting. Construction works such as the Birds Nest or the Light Cube of the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing and the Allianz Arena football stadium in Munich have been carried out with it.
SILICONE
Silicone is commonly used in textile architecture. Its main characteristic is its high translucency, higher than 40% transparency, which has fostered its use in singular buildings and for many different uses. It has a wide colour range, it is very resistant to high temperatures and foul weather and it is therefore longlasting. This material also has a special surface treatment; this is a system that minimises the adherence of particulates and, therefore, its exterior maintenance. Architects such as Maximiliano Fuksas have placed their trust in this material to carry out singular construction works such as the Zenith, in Strasbourg.

LIMPIEZA
CLEANING
The textile layers are stabilised against UV rays and surface protected with a varnish that prevents soiling and facilitates cleaning with rainwater. When the fabric has to be cleaned, this can be done with a detergent recommended by the textile manufacturer or with water.
RENOVATION
If with time we wish to change the original design, this can be done just by replacing the original textile element with another new one, maintaining the rest of the structure. Any textile element with a certain degree of elasticity can be incorporated into the TEXO design.
