Inception Stage: EWL provide Clients with car park Strategies, Business Cases, and Gap Funding

Feasibility Stage: EWL prepare feasibility reports, undertake all site surveys, option design layouts, traffic assessments, and option selection studies to assist with preferred option selection process.

Design Stage: EWL can design any car park and can provide economies to Clients by utilising modern design and sustainable design solutions where the need is required

Construction Stage: EWL have a Minor Works contracting division (<5m) which specialises in car park construction. For larger projects EWL provide a full construction management service.

Operation Stage: EWL provides a full car park operation service after completion of any car park project

Project Management:
EAST MIDLANDS PARKWAY
Project Management of the Design and C o n s t r u c t i o n o f an e w7 5 0s p a c e a t g r a d e car park at the new East Midlands Parkway Station. A brand new station requires this amount of car parking to ensure passenger demand and facility are balanced. CCTV cameras, ticket machines, lighting and landscaping have been provided to ensure compatibility with surrounding landscape.

Client: Network Rail Value: 1,500,000 Completion: 2009

CORBY STATION CAR PARK
Project Management of the Design and C o n s t r u c t i o n o f an e w1 5 0s p a c e a t g r a d e car park for a new station at Corby. High profile, public realm car park and transport interchange including groundworks, roads & paths (Section 278), drainage, and hard & extensive soft landscaping; plus protection & provision of statutory undertakers equipment/services. Also CCTV cameras, ticket machines, and lighting have been provided to ensure compatibility with surrounding landscape.

Client: Network Rail, English Partnership/NNDC Value: 390,000 Completion: 2008

MARKET HARBOROUGH STATION CAR PARK
Extension of existing car park, which also involved creation of new area for disabled parking. Additional car parking spaces were created by reconfiguration of existing spaces and better usage of surrounding unmade land. Additional CCTV cameras, ticket machines, lighting and landscaping provided to ensure compatibility with surrounding landscape. Re-configuration of existing car park, which also involved creation of new extended area for disabled parking. 133 additional car parking spaces were created by reconfiguration of existing spaces and better usage of surrounding unmade land. Additional CCTV cameras, ticket machines, lighting and landscaping provided to ensure compatibility with surrounding landscape.

Feasibility Study and Outline Design Development carried out on a major extension to the existing car park was required to be constructed on the existing surface car park. To replace the parking spaces lost and provide the additional spaces required, a 200 space multi storey car park on 2 levels was proposed. Client: Network Rail/Jacobs Value : 1.2m Completion: 2007

Client: Network Rail/Jacobs Feasibility Study and Outline Design Development carried out on a major extension to the existing station car park which was to be constructed on the existing surface car park. Provide additional spaces required a 110 space multi storey car park on 2 levels was proposed. Other land site in locality were also considered

Feasibility Study and Outline Design Development carried out on a major extension to the existing station car park was be constructed on the existing surface car park. Traffic Assessments were carried out at the main junction to station entrance To replace the parking spaces lost and provide additional spaces required a 170 space multi storey car park on 2 levels was proposed. Client: Network Rail/Jacobs Value: 1.4m Completion: 2007

Construction:
SOUTHAMPTON CITY CAR PARK
Re-configuration and re-surfacing of existing car park. Additional car parking spaces were created by reconfiguration of existing spaces and better usage of surrounding unmade land. Additional CCTV cameras, ticket machines, lighting and landscaping provided to ensure compatibility with surrounding landscape.

CAR PARK REPAIRS
EWL carried out new surfacing works , machine and hand-lay as well as overlays, planing and repair using environmentally friendly infrared machines. EWL did all preparation works:excavation, kerbing, drainage, lighting, signing, barriers, landscaping and lining. Applying Asphalt Rejuvenation to existing asphalt surfaces to prolong the life of the existing bitumen which may have deteriorated due to oxidisation. Regular treatment can extend the life of asphalt surfaces much more cheaply than an overlay and give the appearance of a new clean surface. Line Marking & Signs were undertaken as required using acrylic traffic paints, thermoplastic, coloured walkways, clearly defined disabled bays. We supplied and installed all car park information, direction, parking restriction signs. Client Hampshire County Council Value 390,000 Completion 2002/4

Construction:
HAWKWOOD ROAD CAR PARK BOSCOMBE
After completing 200 square metres of Infrared patch repairs to improve the structural integrity of the car park, then spray applied Sealmaster Masterseal rejuvenation sealant to the entire surface in two coats. When dry in just two hours the lining was re-applied using Sealmaster acrylic paint and the car park reopened. All of this work was completed in just five days in two halves allowing use of the car park all of the time. Disabled parking bays were painted blue with symbols and yellow hatching.

DDA COMPLIANCE OF CAR PARK


One of the first car parks to be modified due to pending legislation with regard to Disability Discrimination. Re-configuration of existing car park, which also involved creation of new extended area for disabled parking. Additional car parking spaces were created by reconfiguration of existing spaces and better usage of surrounding unmade land.

TESCO - BURNLEY
Tesco undertook a major extension to their existing store. This required Tesco to provide additional car parking spaces in the form of a single deck, 155 space multi-storey car park. Construction Management

AVEBURY BOULEVARD MILTON KEYNES

The design and construction of a 250 space split level multi storey car park to serve the northern end of Milton Keynes shopping centre. Built on 9 half levels, using a galvanised steel frame with pre-cast concrete floors, the elevations feature perforated steel balustrades with louvres and glass block enclosed stair wells.

Asda undertook a major extension to their existing store, built on their existing surface car park. To replace the lost car parking spaces and to provide additional spaces required a 200 space multistorey car park. A split level multi storey car park on 6 half levels was built. Client : Asda/HBG Value: 31.2m Completion: 2003

PORTSMOUTH FREE PORT


A 516 space multi storey car park on 4 flat plate suspended levels. The car park was built to serve the short term parking for holiday makers using the Brittany and P&O ferries.

STAR BIRMINGHAM
A flat plate design steel framed multi storey car park providing 1400 parking spaces on ground plus 3 suspended levels. T h ec a r p a r k s e r v e s o n eo f t h eU K s largest leisure and cinema complexes. Since completion the top deck of the car park has been converted into an all weather foot ball and sports arena.
