18 AUGUST Enjoy a night of exquisite wine tasting and elegant dining in the French countryside at a classied Mdoc estate. The splendid Chteau Giscours offers a fascinating look at the history of wine making in this extraordinary region. The chteau itself dates back to the 14th century, and in 1552 the rst vines were planted. Later the chteau was transformed into a neoclassical palace with modern production facilities that continues to produce richly aromatic wines that are among the highest ranked in the world.

5 OCTOBER (Option Two) Originally founded in 849 AD, Bagan became the rst capital of a unied Myanmar Empire under the reign of King Anawrahta. Home to more than 2,000 religious shrines, it is one of the richest archaeological sites in Asia and one of the architectural wonders of the world. You will be awed by the details of each monumental masterpiece. Visit the Ananda Temple, the Gubyaukgyi Temple and the Dhammayangyi Temple, the most massive in Bagan.

15 OCTOBER Often credited with reviving the Thai silk industry, Jim Thompson retired to Bangkok after serving in World War II and created the Jim Thompson Thai Silk Company. Since his disappearance in 1967, little has changed at his house, once the citys most celebrated social centre. You will be welcomed by an angklung band and treated to a fascinating tour of the residence. Enveloped by a beautiful jungle garden, the complex is made up of six Thai-style teak houses. The evening concludes with a cocktail party and an award-winning traditional Thai puppet show.

5 OCTOBER (Option One) Amarapura, the immortal city, is a former royal capital and home to Mahagandayon Monastery, one of the largest in Myanmar. Nearby you can cross U Beins famous teak footbridge, one of the longest wooden bridges in the world. Mandalay, the last royal capital of the Myanmar Empire, was founded by King Mindon in 1859. Visit its most sacred shrine, the Mahamuni Pagoda, where gold leaf is applied regularly to the revered Mahamuni Buddha. The Kuthodaw Pagoda houses the worlds largest book, inscribed with the canon of Buddhist scripture. Climb holy Mandalay Hill for a serene view of the beautiful city below.

Tables draped in linen are an elegant contrast to the glowing desert, and myriad candles surround the festivities, creating an ethereal glow as they reect off the canyon walls. FARES | Fares are quoted in Pounds Sterling, are per person and are based on double occupancy. Fares are based on US dollar fares and are valid for bookings made up to 31st March 2014. Fares include ights from London airports and related government levied taxes. Fares do not include transfers to and from the ship, prepaid charges, personal charges or optional facilities and service fees, as those terms are clearly dened in the Passenger Ticket Contract. DEPOSIT AND PAYMENTS | 180-DAY WORLD ODYSSEY The per person deposit required to secure the 180-Day World Odyssey is 20% of the applicable cruise fare for all suites and staterooms and must be received within seven days of booking. Final balance due must be received no later than 181 days prior to cruise departure, together with passport details and any special onboard service requests; otherwise, booking may be subject to immediate cancellation and any applicable penalties. American Express, MasterCard, Visa, Discover, Travel Agency checks and personal checks are accepted for deposits and full payments. For your convenience, your Final Payment may be automatically charged to the credit card used to make the initial deposit. Oceania Cruises accepts no responsibility for credit card foreign currency/transaction processing fees independently assessed by issuing banks. None of these fees separately charged by the issuing banks accrues to the benet of Oceania Cruises. Third party credit card charges can only be accepted when accompanied by valid authorization to charge from the relevant card owner. CAnCELLATIOn And REFUndS | 180-DAY WORLD ODYSSEY A 100% cancellation fee will be imposed as indicated for nonappearance or the absence of written notice. Fare is dened as the full cost of any cruise or air component purchased from Oceania Cruises, excluding optional facilities and services fees. Please refer to the full Terms and Conditions of the Guest Ticket/Contract for fees relating to the cancellation of optional facilities and services. A full refund of payments received will be made when Oceania Cruises receives written notice of cancellation as indicated by the Cancellation Fee Schedule listed here.
