Mystery of the Anointing Oil Part 2, Aug 22, 2012 Opening prayer: Praise and Worship: 10 minutes: Testimonies: 5 minutes Review: Mystery of the Anointing Oil Part 2, Aug 22, 2012 The anointing oil is a mystery of the Kingdom of God to make an open show of the enemy. The oil is not a symbol. The anointing oil is the very power of God packaged in a bottle. When the oil is applied, the Holy Spirit is released. 1 Sam 16:13 says, Then Samuel took the horn of oil, and anointed him in the midst of his brethren: and the Spirit of the Lord came upon David from that day forward. God does not change. When the oil is applied today, the Spirit of the Lord comes upon anything the oil touches. There is nothing too hard for God. If you are saying, this situation will take a miracle, apply the anointing oil. The oil takes you out of human limitations, and brings the power of God to the situation. The primary mission of the Holy Spirit is to bring comfort to Gods sons and daughters. John 14: 16,18 says, I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you forever. I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you. The oil removes every burden and destroys every yoke trying to hold you down (Isaiah 10:27). Things that seemed difficult in the past will immediately start working in your favor because of the anointing. When the yokes are destroyed, it is easy for you to move forward. 1 Sam 10:3 says, You shall go forward. From this day, every yoke is destroyed and you will enjoy peace and progress in your life, in Jesus precious name! The oil provides supernatural favor and honor for you. If you have experienced shame in the past, when the oil comes upon you, you shall receive double for your shame (Isaiah 61:7). 1 Sam 10:3,6 says, They will salute thee and give thee two loaves of bread. Thou shalt be turned into another man. The anointing oil literally changes your status in life, career and business. People begin to honor and respect you because of the anointing. Before Jesus ascended into heaven, He told us to expect power when the Holy Spirit comes. Acts 1:8 says, You shall receive power, after the Holy Ghost is come upon you. If you are born again and have been baptized with the Holy Spirit, you have received power! Praise God! We are to rejoice because of this anointing. It makes things comfortable for every believer. We are in the times of the latter rain. The Holy Spirit is not being dribbled out. The power of the Holy Spirit is being poured out on every believer! When the Holy Spirit came upon the believers at Pentecost, Peter said we are now in the time of the latter rain that the prophet Joel spoke about (Acts 2:16). Lets read Joel 2:23-29 and rejoice in what the Holy Spirit is doing right now in our lives!

Prayer 1: 3 Minutes: Everyone should take the oil in their right hand and apply it to their forehead.

We are going to thank God that we are in the times of the latter rain. Our floors and our fats will overflow. God will restore anything the enemy has eaten in our lives. We shall eat in plenty and be satisfied. From this day forward, we will never be ashamed! Praise God! He truly has dealt wondrously with us! (Joel 2:23-29) Prayer 2: 3 Minutes: We will be praying for a harvest of souls this week. Ask the Lord of the Harvest to whistle to all his sheep in Lagos, Oakland, Colorado Springs, and every fellowship around the country. Ask the Holy Spirit to drive them into church and into every fellowship with His irresistible wind. We will also be praying for the Holy Spirit to convict them of their sins, so they will be saved, and Christ will be formed and complete in all of the people present. Prayer 3: 3 minutes We are going to thank God for all past signs and wonders, and that signs and wonders will erupt this week in all of the services and fellowships. Pray for miracles that will gather unbelieving crowds into church. Prayer 4: 3 Minutes We are going to thank God for His servant, Bishop Oyedepo, and everyone who serves in the body of Christ. Pray that the Word of God will flow freely and be glorified in every service and fellowship. Pray that all the ministers will speak with flames of fire. Offering: 5 minutes (Share one scripture and then take the offering.)
