1. BUSINESS CONCEPT: Girl-love Online Shop E-tailer


We got the idea of an online fashion shop for teen girls from never-too-old trend of vintage and Korean clothing. We have found that most people chose the vintage fashion because it was designed to be long-wearing clothes and quite unique with strange and exclusive decorations. Therefore, our group decided to make a plan to run a shop with an online website called Girl-love for the purpose of providing customers with a variety of choices of highly original vintage and Korean clothing. We hope that, with that business model, we can attract and keep a large quantity of costumers, who will be served by the best way with the cheapest price. We always try our best to make the customer service. Join with us and feel the atmosphere of fashion!

2. WEBSITE BUILDING
a. Goals - Easy navigation with clear ecommerce presentation. - Easy searching tool. - Friendly design for website. Simple operation (payment process, delivery, rebate)

b. Process - Exploring Joomla: We had to learn about data storing system the way Joomla arranges items into sections, categories and articles; the way modules & plugins work and how to show them on page. Sometimes it can be tricky to choose the right position on the web page to place a module, because we have to balance between two goal-set: easy navigation and nice design. - Choosing Template: One member shortlisted several potential templates to use, because the default template does not give good design for an online clothes store. However, it is not easy to choose a template that fits totally with the business objectives. To increase the stickiness, we provide some fashion information and we need a slider to show the image and the content brief. Also, we need some sticky position to highlight the discount ads. - Design sketch: We made our own logo and banner to impress site users with uniqueness of Love Girl shop, present ourselves in a formal way. The logo designing followed the current trend of giant fashion brands, which is cool, simple and refined meaningful (start to shine). The website is also designed to match the target market: modern girls and women. - Content Building: One 4-member team was responsible for preparing useful and basic information such as introduction, frequently asked questions, how-to-buy guide, payment method, delivery service, after-sale customer support. The 2 other members was in charge of finding information about producer, product description and price, tax calculation. - Joomla extensions and Uploading to the host: Each member focused on 1 to 2 modules or plug-ins that are necessary to run a e-tailer website and attract the shopper. We did spend a lot of time surfing the internet and finding the most suitable extensions for our websites. Some extensions might have an excellent support if it were applied to the web, but it unfortunately not free. Thus, it took us a longer time to find some free modules and plug-ins to that are easy to use and have a good look. c. Difficulties and Challenges - Uploading problem: At the first time we uploaded the website to host, it did not work well because the IP address was changed and due to some conflicting

instructions (there was an old guide on Elearning website and another guide sent directly to our classs email). After that, we checked and discovered the problem, but the FXP software still displayed the line failed connection. We tried a lot, and eventually decided to ask the tutor. It turned out that the name and password was not the same as the registered ones. This time, the website was successfully uploaded. - Access to website: Sometimes we tried to get access to website and admin page to do the tasks, however there were moments where we could only reached the admin page, and the frontend was blank, or showing ERROR page. - Other challenges: Some deadlines of personal presentations and online test during the course really put press on us. However, we have already finished in time thanks to the rational division of work.

3. BASIC INFORMATION
a. Who are we? Girl-love is a shopping online market about Vintage and Korean-style clothing which is established by a group of closed friends who love fashion and want to have our own business and work for our hobby. We also want to open a comfortable place for everyone who has demand and demand to make their own style. Our slogan is: Make your style, make your valuation! Founded in 2012, Girl-love have been trying to be concerned one of the best choice for teenagers clothing and we have been sponsors for some events of student in our University and in Hanoi. Among the various departments in our system, each member has her/his own work with strong point such us general manager, financial manager, web designer, stylist. We work together to make our own collections about: Be Vintage- Be retro, Move-in summer, Beloved Xmas, Our store deals a large quantity of clothing and accessories with variety of designs, colors and sizes. Come with us and be the owner of unique clothing with the voucher to discount 10% after every 2,000,000 VND bill and a lot special discount evens.

b. What we do Online retailing: selling clothing and accessories for teen girls. Our side-service include: delivery service. We also differentiate ourselves from other rivals by offering a special service which is not yet developed and wellplanned in Hanoi: organizing events for students. This way, we directly engage ourselves in their activities, build close relationship with our customers (mainly schools and universities), and thus gain insights into our own market to better ourselves with time. c. Our partners We have, with great fortune and pleasure, chance to be partner with: StyleNanda: With the history of establishment since 2004, SyleNanda is the most popular Korean online supply clothings and accessories website for girls. Forever 11: an chain of clothing retailers with branches in major cities in China, Thailand and Vietnam that offers clothing and accessories for young women, men, and teen girls. Hot Topic: a Korean retail chain specializing in music and pop culturerelated clothing and accessories, as well as licensed music. The majority of the stores are located in regional shopping malls

4. OPERATIONAL STRATEGY
a. Product Our target audience are teenagers so we offer product with good quality from reliable sources which can satisfy all needs of Girl-loves consumers. With the slogan: Make your style, make your valuation, Girl-love offer a wide range of clothing from famous and normal brand with attractive illustration which not only help teenagers have a habit of regular reading but also make their own style and encourage the development of their unique personality. Customers can make your choice in these following pieces:

b. Price Girl-love apply cost plus pricing strategy. Our delivery service pricing is included, unless in promotional time or special value of clothing (from 1.500.000 VND and above free shipping in Hanoi) c. Promotion Girl-love has several promotional activities to generate great sales projection. We offer very attractive seasonal discounts for clothing so our consumer can get reliable product at lower prices. For example, Christmas sales (off 30% for winter clothing), Annual Anniversary of Girl-love (of 20% for all things on sale)... We also organize many regular online as well as offline events for teenagers to introduce and popularize our products and goods to the buyers. Girl-love also takes part in familiar social campaign to the young like Flea Market, Exchange Clothing Town... By this way, we strengthen our brand and position ourselves as unique provider of such services. d. Place Girl-love have a point of distribution at 91 Chua Lang (inventories storing) & an office at same place. Moreover, we have online distribution channel ( website: Girllove.ftu.edu.vn) and a Facebook fanpage (Girl love shopping) to keep in touch with customers and utilize social media effect on customer behavior (viral marketing). The website also utilizes recommendation system generated by customers themselves (through reviews and com-ments on each product page). e. Payment and delivery

Girl-love has very quick and simple system of payment. We offer both online payment and offline payment for customers to choose but considering the benefits of Girl-loves customers, we advise them choosing offline payment, or in other words, cash on delivery payment, so they only have to pay after checking their order and feeling satisfied with the quality of received clothes. Girl-loves payment system is guided clearly on the website: people just have to register with very basic information , add their preferred items to 9

the cart and choose available payment method: Baokim, Nganluong and Paypal. Clothes will be delivered within 24 hours which is very competitive delivery time compare with other shops. With cash on delivery payment, Girl-loves consumers can return clothes in case they find any defects in the ordered items. According to Girl-loves policies about clothes return, after receiving clothes from the delivery man, consumer should check carefully and then, if they find out that ordered clothes is in bad shape, they have to return this back to delivery man, who has responsibility to bring the clothes back to Girl-love. Moreover, consumer will receive a special voucher with the discount of 10% for the next order. By this way, we want to ensure our consumers that they will receive their favorite clothes with the best quality and the best services from Girl-love. Girl-love also allow consumers to cancel the order if they change their mind half way. In this case, consumers must contact Girl-loves stuff by phone call and cancel their order within 5 hours after e-mail confirmation for the order.
