Feasibility of Project and Analysis

Purpose of the project To create a multimedia presentation that promotes the company, the services it offers and hopefully by doing this increase customers and the sales to those customers. Business/Customer Requirements Business Requirements The presentation needs to secure and have a password to prevent unauthorised access. Who is it for? The presentation is for potential customers that would be interested in the company and what it has to offer. Inputs Text Graphics Animations Videos Sound Processin Required The computer needs to be correctly set up so that it can read file formats and produce an output that meets the requirements of the company. !utputs The computer will output the slides to a screen or pro ector and run the presentation automatically. The pro ect is required to be given in a format that will wor% on the company&s computers. #ser $ "echnical %ocumentation A user guide is required that will show the users how to change the presentation and other ob ects such as videos, animations and sounds. &'ternal and Internal Factors and impact The delivery of equipment and software would affect the pro ect because if it is late or will ta%e along time to come then this may push bac% the deadline and may even prevent the completion of the pro ect. Another factor is that of labour, they may need to pay

people to do the presentation for them, or to save money train people within the company to do the presentation. 'n the other hand it may be cheaper to pay somebody to do the presentation instead of training the staff but, in the long run if the staff members have been trained then it will save money and time so that they can do the presentation instead of other people outside the company. These do have their advantages because they are generally more reliable and better quality, although if money is an issue then continue using (indows +,. )ustification of Project *olution They should do this pro ect because it may increase customers and sales therefore increasing profits. )t may be expensive but if it wor%s then the revenue created from it would be higher than the original cost. Resources required to complete the project/&'istin Resources The computers are already there so they will not need to be purchased. The !icrosoft 'ffice software may need to be purchased to be able to run the ,ower,oint. The staff are already in the company that need to be trained, however the people to train these staff need contacting so that they can organise a training day. The are in which the presentation will be shown needs to be set up and be prepared for the test that we will be doing soon.
