***************Important Please Read***************

When you first connect your machine to the network the new security software will authenticate you, download a small application, check your machine for Anti-Virus and a certain version of Adobe Acrobat Reader then either let you continue or force you to update or install the relevant software packages. Once you have done this and have access to the network future checking will be minimal and should only be a case of logging in and perhaps obtaining a small virus definition update from your vendor. Please use your allocated username and password to authenticate to the system. The following process walks you through an example of a client machine with existing AVG Free Anti-Virus, no Adobe Reader version 8.1.2 and no installation of the new Cisco security software which your machine will be required to run in the future. Please be aware that during this process you will not have any other internet access until you have logged successfully into the network.

Many thanks for your cooperation. St Peters College I.T Services
