for 1, or trip for 2!!! I know how hard you are working for this and all I can say is, DON'T STOP TRYING...NEVER GIVE UP...NO MATTER WHAT!!! Being on a Trip Incentive with JK is one of the most wonderful things I've ever experienced. If you are close, keep working and use every opportunity to connect with others and share the gift of JK. If you need someone to cheer you on, or need help with adding up your points, I am here to help! December is one of those crazy months where we get so wrapped up into the Christmas deadline that we forget there is an entire 2 weeks left in the month. December 15th IS the deadline for guaranteed Christmas delivery, but not everyone is looking for gifts for others. In fact, I had a customer contact me in regards to a party. I gave her my availability (thinking she was buying gifts) up until the 15th. After telling me that those dates would not work for she and her friends, I gave her some later dates in the month. She chose the 19th, and I told her it was too late for Christmas delivery. She told me, "I'm buying for me...and my friends are buying for themselves, the deadline means nothing to me." Remember too that ladies like to spread a little Christmas cheer with their Christmas cash. Lesson learned...never assume. And speaking of Christmas, what better time to express your appreciation for your hostesses and customers. I did a party the other night and it was apparent to me that the Hostess went to a lot of trouble inviting guests and preparing food. As I stepped into her beautiful home, I was greeted with smiling faces and offers to help me unload my car. Has that happened to you? Have you ever been treated so nicely and with so much generosity that it was humbling? This brought me to the conclusion that I need to give back to those who've given me so much during the year. I am guilty of spending time thinking about myself; how each party is going to help me achieve my goals, etc...Then I get this clunk on the head saying, "hang on there...look around, see how much these Hostesses are working for you, and be thankful." Being thankful is good, and so I've made a decision to host a Customer Appreciation Party. I will call each customer and personally invite them to my C.A.P. I will tell them why I am having it and how much I appreciate their business. I will tell them to leave their wallets at home and to enjoy a night created just for them. I know I will get sales, but that's not the point...I want to give back. If you share these same feelings, and you would love to give back, I would recommend you do this as well. I'm not your boss and honestly, if you cannot afford to do this, by all means, don't. However, I believe that when you give with a generous heart, it comes back tenfold. Many of you may have seen that I'm running a 22 Days of Christmas special that I'm offering to my friends and family. In a nutshell, I give 30% off to 3 people per day, on a specific item in the catalog. I've not had huge sales, but it has created traffic and attention to my business. I have given a discount to some of my most loyal customers and I have given it to some who haven't purchased from me in years. This is good ...right!?! December is a special month. It is a month that allows you to take a snapshot of the passing year and set new goals for the upcoming year. December is a time to give with a generous heart.
