Classroom
Our classrooms creates an atmosphere that generates a learning environment, a place where we are made to put on our thinking cap.

Library
Learning Resource Center is an abode for whole range of academic books along with periodicals, Journals, Business Magazines, Newspapers. Students also have access to the spacious, well structured reading hall.

Seminar Hall
Learning is basically through sharing, group discussion helps to satisfy this need. The seminar hall provides a platform where the Communication skills of students are harnessed & Developed. This serves the purpose of conducting seminar, workshops, discussions where by members of corporate interact with the group of students on various live cases and business related Topics.

Sports Complex
The sports complex is equipped with facilities for indoor games like Carrom, Chess and Table Tennis. The kits for outdoor games like Volley Ball, Badminton and Cricket are also provided.

National Award in IT Excellence

Canon India Pvt. Ltd, Star Group and Fun and Joy at Work jointly called nominations for various awards in IT Excellence. IT department of the Institute participated in Award for Leadership in IT Education category. The evaluation was done on the basis report and documents produced for justification of infrastructure available, computer laboratory, library, teaching faculty and their efforts to improve quality of teaching, various activities under taken by department for overall growth of the students, academic results, placements, research activities undertaken by faculty and students and leadership qualities. The IT Department of IMS won this 'Award for Leadership in IT Education' on 13th Feb. 2012 at Hotel Taj Lands End, Mumbai.

IMS Theatre Group

IMS theatre group participated in Natasreshtha Shahu Modak Karandak Inter Collegiate Drama Competition th th held from 7 to 8 Jan 2012. IMS performed short play 'Daar Kuni Ughadat Nahi written by Shri. Satish Alekar. IMS bagged Natasreshtha Shahu karandak for the best play. It also bagged following individual prizes : Best Actor Mr. Shaumik Kulkarni, Best Actress - Ms. Shruti Dhongde, Best Director - Mr. Shaumik Kulkarni, Best Music - Ms. Sonam Bajaj & Ms. Namrata Mahankale, Best Lights - Mr. Kiran Supekar & Ms. Sonal Tamboli. Institutional Activities
10th Anniversary Celebration of IMS-VAFPA
On 17 Sept 2011 a colorful event was organised by IMS-Videocon Academy of Fine & Performing Arts to celebrate its 10th Anniversary. The Chief Guest for the function was Guru Dr. Sanddhya Pureccha renowned Bharatnatyam Dancer, Mumbai. Ms. Mangala Khadilkar, renowned Anchor, Mumbai was the Guest of Honour. Dr. N. M. Aston, Chairman, B.P.H.E. Society, Ahmednagar also graced the occasion. The faculty members and students of academy performed on various classical themes in Bharatnatyam and Kathak.

Jewellery Designing Exhibition

The Institute organized a Jewellery Designing Exhibition on 17th Jan 2012 in the Videocon Academy Hall. The Chief Guest was Ms. Chhayatai Firodiya, Chief Executive, Ahmednagar Education Society and Guest of Honour was Ms. Chhayatai Kardile, Director, Institute of Fashion Designing, Ahmednagar.The exhibition was inaugurated by Ms. Chhayatai Firodiya, Mr. Philip Barnabas, Secretary, BPHE Society and Ms.Meera Barnabas attended the inaugural function; they appreciated the efforts of students and trainer Ms. Dipali Deutkar.

Blood Donation Camp

On the occasion of Founder's Day (21st Jan 2012) a Blood Donation Camp was organized by the Institute in association with Jan Kalyan Blood Bank, Ahmednagar. 55 Students donated blood.

'Hair & Skin Care' Workshop

On the occasion of Dr. B.P.Hivale's Birth Anniversary, the IMS Vidyarthini Manch organised a seminar on 21st Jan 2012, for all women students and faculty members. The seminar was on 'Skin and Hair Care', eminent Dermatologist Dr. Vijaya Erande in collaboration with Himalaya Drug Company gave the seminar

Management Day 'Metamorphosis 2012
Management Day 'Metamorphosis' was celebrated on 2nd March 2012 with its usual vigour and festivity. Dr. Y. K. Bhushan, renowned Management Consultant was the Chief Guest for the programme. Prizes were given to academic toppers, Best Student and winners of various cultural and sport competitions. 5th Volume of Institute Magazine 'Reflections' was released on this occasion.

Alumni Meet 'Nostalgia' 2012

Alumni Meet was organised on 3 March 2012. Prof. B. Ramesh Dean, Faculty of Commerce, Goa University was the Guest of Honour. 200 Alumni participated in the meet with enthusiasm and vigour. The alumni interacted with the present batch students and Star Alumni were awarded for their achievements in their chosen field of service. Alumni participated in variety of entertainment programmes and gave valuable feedback. 5th volume of IMS-Alumni Newsletter were release on this day.

Vidyarthini Manch of the Institute celebrated International Women's Day, on 14th March 2012. 'Samvad' is a programme, organised every year by the Institute. On this occasion, Institute invites renowned personalities from different industries to interact with the lady students, faculty members and the ladies from Ahmednagar city and district. Mrs. Kanchan Adhikari renowned actress, director & producer & Mrs. Kavita Lad, famous actress were invited for 'Samvad' & they were interviewed by Mrs. Mangala Khadilkar.
