Outreach teams visited Xai-Xai and surrounding areas, to minister to
the children, young people and grown-ups. There were two work teams that
joined in the outreach projects, helping to install and repair bathrooms, showers
& kitchens. In the evenings everyone would join together for a worship service,
and Bible teaching for the new converts. During the day, prayer meetings and
Bible study groups were held. After lunch, the young people participated in
sports activities before the evening meal.
The teams split up and visited Birro
Inhamessa church with about 300 members,
Marramene, Balweni, Nokweni and Zon-
goene. These 4 churches all have between
50—100 members, and are growing. Bibles
are needed for the evangelistic outreaches in
Shangaan and Portuguese—Please pray
with us that we can equip them with the
precious Word of God.
Water is a precious commodity in
Mozambique and many parts of Africa. People
gather water in buckets alongside the road after
the rain, even the children help older siblings to
carry the water to their villages. We all take water
for granted … turn on the faucet … 1 2 3 ...
Food and clothing is distributed and Bibles
are given to new converts when attending
discipleship training classes and Bible Study.

Lesotho Matching Challenge … “For with God nothing shall be impossible.” Luke 1:37
One of our long time donors Doug & Linda File has put forth a matching challenge to CFAM to raise
$5000.00 – for the Lesotho projects and Bible distribution. They have volunteered to match this challenge by
donating $1.00 for every dollar raised by Christ For Africa Mission. This matching challenge begins now and will
continue through the end of December 2009, when it closes. Funds raised will help the Indigenous pastors and
workers in Lesotho, with Bible distribution, Orphanage, Corn Grinders & Bicycles to assist them as they travel and
minister in surrounding villages and in new areas of evangelism.
Please pray and ask the Lord to touch your heart and send a special gift for this challenge. Please be sure and clearly
mark your donation “LESOTHO CHALLENGE” to help us keep track of how much we raise for this worthy ministry. We will keep
you posted as we receive your gifts. Doug has already sent $1,000.00 in advance, because he feels the need is urgent, and
strongly believes that we can do this … Do you believe we can ? … Together we all can … To God Be The Glory …
