Introduction

A person who has to beg for his livelihood is known as street bagger. They are belonging under the poverty level so that they lead very miserable life. They wake up from sleep at down. They can't get enough food for his feeding, sufficient cloth for wearing and house for living. They have to eat a very little food. This food may be like garbage. Sometimes, if they cant get enough food from begging then they remain hungry for 1 or 2 or many days. They are basically found in public place such as transport routes, urban parks, and near busy markets especially they stands in front of the mosque on Friday. Many of them stand or sit on a specific place for beggaring any try to show that they are more ill or sicker than they are in real life. According to a study in the journal of the Canadian Medical Association, "(70%) beggars stated that they would prefer a minimum-wage job, typically citing a desire for a 'steady income' or 'getting off the street. Begging is turn out to be a big black profession day by day. This is so crutial for us. The governments have to find out those who are behind this begging profession. It is not necessary to enact a new law to stop begging because we have the laws but just need to implement properly.

Literature Review
If anyone guarantees me that he will not beg from people, I will guarantee him paradise. Prophet Muhammad Author: Sagar 5th April, 2013 The Independent The sole concern of the article is to discourage people from giving money to each and every beggar. This is because todays beggars are not true needy people. Most beggars today cheat with our emotions to get money from us. In other words, they play with our emotions and deceive in any way possible. Our Prophet Muhammad said that If a nyone guarantees me that he will not beg from people, I will guarantee him paradise. Hence, it is evident that begging is not the solution for any problem. But many people are taking it for granted and in fact they regard it as one of their professions. As a result of which the trend of begging is increasing day by day whereas it is supposed to decrease. A beggar earns around 200 to 500 taka per day which is a lot. There are sources which say that the turnover of begging runs to millions. Now, the way begging has increased in our country, it is not very easy to stop them. Thats why it is important that we find out the reasons for which they beg and pay serious attention towards them. Poverty has been always there, it is nothing new. But instead of compromising with this we have to learn how to fight to it. And poverty is the sole reason for begging. Therefore, we have to find out alternatives of fighting to poverty other than accepting begging as a means of earning. Some beggars beg to collect money for their daughters dowry, some beggars beg for treatment, etc. Therefore, we have to solve out those problems first. As, if this trend of begging goes on, human exploitation will increase more drastically. The situation has become so worst that even mothers give their children drugs of unconsciousness to beg from the people for his/her recovery.

Big beggars' gobble up street beggars' money

Published: Sunday, 14 October 2012 By Khalilur Rahman The financial express In our country beggars always deprive from their right. They dont get any types of help from the government or any organization so that they become curse in our country. This is not their fault; this is the fault of big man who always steals their right. Actually these big men are original poor and gentle thief who steals the beggars right. In 2012, the parliamentary standing committee on social welfare ministry expressed that about 70 million taka which was allocated by the government to make a project for beggars rehabilitation and generating employment opportunity for them, was gobbled up by the big beggars. After that the government again allocated taka 100 million for rehabilitation of citys beggars. The ministry of Social Welfare had conducted a survey in different parts of the metropolis and prepared a database along with beggars pictures and code numbers to ensure their proper rehabilitation. The government had also planned that the beggars who are physically fit could be provided with mobile shops, rickshaws, vans, sewing machines and funds to undertake small business. In January, 2017, the Dhaka Metropolitan Police rounded up beggars from streets to some areas of Dhaka city for rehabilitation. They also arranged training programmed so that they can earn their livelihood and stop begging. These type of government steps to remove baggers from the city are not new during the rule of former president H.M Earsad a large number of beggars went sent to rehabilitation centers at Datttapara in Tongi keeping city roads free from baggers but they were failed. At one stage they back to their previous place.

Begging for life or Begging for Business Published March 2011

Syed Masud Ahmed Shamim Hossain Antora Mahmud Khan Qazi Shafayetul Islam Md Kamruzzaman

Day by day our Dhaka city has earned some bad reputation filled with traffic jam & street Beggars. Today begging is a common phenomenon in our country mostly in Dhaka city. People came towards the city and start begging as a profession when they havent any work to do. But now a day its become a major problem on Dhaka city. About 70 thousand people in our country eking out their living from begging. When we went out from home and stuck in Traffic jam helpless hands of beggars coming through cars window or an auto rickshaw door imploring passengers for money at every traffic signal. Some of them are lamp with no arms or legs and totally handicapped and begging in every point of Dhaka city. Today begging is one of the common businesses for some others. There is a third party behind the beggars who forcing them for begging. A report on street beggars shows that, a beggar normally earns 600 to 800 taka per day by begging and from they gives 400 taka to the third party. They involved childrens for begging because they thought that childrens are more capable to earn money from the people. Some beggars are apply techniques to earn more from begging. There are some women who hire babies from orphan on payment to convince the people.

Conclusion

There are hundreds of beggars in the streets of Dhaka. They either stay in groups or sing a religious song to gain sympathy from the other people or act to be blind, disabled or dumb. Some healthy people pretend to be sick and cheat other people. Recently, I saw a small girl being carried away by another girl who was comparatively a little bigger than the other. The burned girl was unconscious and it was to determine that whether the girl was dead or alive. But the older girl was not least worried about her. She was busy in collecting money on her name. Now the point is, if we feel sympathetic towards these little children and give them money, we simply encourage more little kids to be burned, tortured and defamed. Therefore, it is our responsibility now to save these little kids and bring them in a better condition where they would not have to act or be burned to live.
